If anyone is interested, Yun Ji On made a statement:https://www.soompi.com/article/1785111wpp/yun-ji-on-apologizes-and-steps-down-from-drama-after-dui-incident
From YJO's statement "On September 16, while heavily intoxicated to the point that I could not even remember my actions, I made the grave mistake of unlawfully riding a parked motorcycle." Does this mean he rode a *parked* motorcycle while intoxicated a.k.a. just straddled it ? If so, I don't understand the commotion. I feel for him.
In Be Melodramatic, his character and storyline were my favourite. His singing was also very good. I hope he won't be blacklisted, and his agency will have his back. He's so talented and seems to be such a good person. Hang on Yun Ji On!
I watched this when i turned 20as well, partly because of this reason I loved this show soooo muchh and it feels…
+1 on wishing there would be more of this type of reality show. It reminded me of the golden days of early Terrace House Opening New Doors episodes (esp. the Shion/Tsubasa relationship which was so cute and healthy and mature!).
I wish this director would reevaluate his use of background songs in dramas and movies which are otherwise very enjoyable. These songs are often ill-chosen (looking at you, Bruce Willis song in SITR), distract from the action, and are too repetitive and too loud. Carla Bruni's affected singing voice in particular is unbearable, in at least 2 of this director's drama.

ETA I meant this review, not the show 🤣
