Plus she calls him oppa which she didn't before (this could either mean she just started using honorifics or their relationship is that of sibblings - i believe it's last). Otherwise she wouldn't show him the wedding card so laxly. I just think he stopped wanting to be a (physical) woman, because the loss he already received is reminding him, of how grateful he's got to be for what he has.......... maybe....

killing the woman inside - i think that could be it (would explain those gory scenes...)
@niemarysia: yeah, absolutely! Did you watch 'a company man'?- The perfect example of what kind of action they like :D

I don't really know what to think about the ending...(+The -extreme- fighting scene at the end didn't really fit (in my opinion)... i'm a fan of martial-arts and action movies but i couldn't really see the meaning of it.) But that's already the only point of criticism.

Overall the acting (expecially Cha Seung Won's) was superb!! - There were a few subtle feelings conyed which spiced up the movie even more. (Though the story itself already had a strong impact.)

<3 Cha Seung Won without beard :D (i know that's not the only movie where he doesn't have a beard... but his looks in this movie just deserve praise ^^)

Am i the only one here who wants to watch it (and most likely complete it) for the superpowers? :D

SInce Baek Mi Yeon apologized to the dead Chairman i got really confused. Plus there were those scenes in the past in which she explicitely told Lee Jong Goo that he wasn't the father + she seemed to have an affair with Ah Chariman.

He's such a gifted actor!! His acting is just totally believable! I liked (hated ;) his chracter in King2Hearts so much - but in A Tree with deep Roots he showed that he's able to pull of much more.
...--I didn't know that Garion was Jong Ki Joon until he showed himself... he seemed like an entirely different person o_O (Plus, only after i saw him as Ki Joon i realized that the actor was Yoon Je Moon - since i watched ATwdR after King2Hearts i knew him as evil villain :)
