haha maybe I'm just a late bloomer. or a squib. XD
Ummm. Hm. Well...what do you want to know? haha. Let's see. We both like You're Beautiful! And have similar likes for other dramas too ^^ I'm trying to teach myself Korean, but are you taking a class? And, um...my school has finals in 2 weeks and then I'll get to go HOME!
How are you liking Gu Family Book so far?

I took a nutrition class freshman year and thought it was interesting. I was considering journalism at the time, but that sounded better. And I love food, so I was like, hey, why not?

haha wow so many choices! so you probably get asked "what are you going to do with your major?" a lot? I got that a lot when I was majoring in English, and I found myself making up new stories every time someone asked.

Awesome! Haha so I might not be that much of a help to practice with since you probably know a lot more, but if you ever want to practice, I'd be glad to help! :)
Oh...I just realized. That was supposed to be nae in hangul. But apparently the computer didn't like it so it put a question mark there instead. :/

I'm studying by myself, but I'm hoping to take a class this summer. Do you know hangul?

hahaha nice. :D
Same for me! My high school only had the full 4 year program for Spanish, the others were just a few classes of French and Sign Language, so I really had no choice.
Yup, I'm a junior. I've switched around a lot but finally ended up with Nutritional Sciences. No idea what I'm gonna do once I graduate next year. :P

Darn finals getting in the way of our drama watching. :P haha
I've found it's better to study in groups now, because then I can't just sneak off and watch a drama in the middle of my study group XD

Aw dang. :( I've found Talk To Me in Korean to be really handy when I want to learn Korean on my own ^^ Still, that's pretty awesome though!
I took 4 years of Spanish in high school, but now I'm kind of Spanish-ed out. :( But I still love it when I understand what a Spanish-speaker is saying :)
And I'm sure the Japanese will come in handy for when you watch J dramas! :D

Hi! Nice to meet you, thanks for the request! :D

Omo! Okay, so I've realized that I actually do sort of do the hair thing. I put my hair in a high bun (not quite a topknot though) more often now because I can pretend I'm a cross-dressing girl in a saeguk. XD

Hi! Thanks for accepting! I love your profile pic. Eatyourkimchi is the best! :D
Also, what foreign language is it that you're majoring in? (I love learning new languages, but never have much time haha)

haha oh I have yet to watch that one but I hope it's good! :D
Yes, my theory was that if I have to wait between watching episodes, I can actually get some hw and studying done. It's...sort of working, I guess? lol
But now I'm listening to a bunch of music instead. I'm too afraid to start another drama while I wait for the next episodes, because then I will probably never ever leave my room again and fail school! Okay, maybe not, but...it would be bad. :P

Just Gu Family Book at the moment. I'm really loving it so far. :) How about you?
Shaza May 2, 2013
yes for 2,3,5, and 6. I've also sometimes found myself giving things to other people with two hands instead of one and sometimes, if I don't catch it, along with a small bow.
Also sometimes I will wave people over with my palm facing down now instead of up.
Yesterday was actually the first time I accidentally let a Korean word slip. I wanted to know what my friends were talking about, but instead of asking "what," "mwo" came out instead. Sometimes I'll say "what" in Spanish or French, but that was the first time I had used Korean, and it actually took me a second to realize I hadn't said "quoi" or "que" haha.
I think I'll go eat some ramen now. With chopsticks. :)

...yup, I missed the first comment at the bottom. oy. Silly me.

Yes, that's what I hope! Thanks!

ahhh Poland! Awesome! :D Aw, that sounds like so much fun watching dramas together! One day...once I've found/converted enough people...I will do that too! *cue evil laughter*

That's kind of the same for me! Before I watched dramas, I knew a little about anime and Japanese media but nothing about Korean TV. One day (while procrastinating, of course) I saw a clip of a J drama and thought it was really strange. Then I thought, well, let's try K dramas since I read a recommendation on a blog a few days ago. And, yeah...here I am! :D
Are you fluent in Japanese?
