Title The Boy Next World Spoiler
Stalking? So the novel is based on stalking? Idk.
In the original novel the parallel world was just a made up story that Cir used to get close to Phu. Before this he stalked him since high school because he didn't have the courage to aproach him. Some people see this in bad or better light but for me is still creepy cause he even knew the passworld to his house and just a bunch of other very personal aspects in Phu's life, even if he meaned no harm. In the extra chapters is revellead that the other world exists, but maybe it was just an excuse Mame used because of the well pointed critsism she recieves for the problematic themes she puts in her novels. Anyway, that is my way of seeing things, i suggest you go read for yourself to create your own opinion on the matter, loving the series tho (I've already been screwed up by LITA)

Also the parallel universe does exist if you read the special chapters for the book that explain how it comes…
I still think this is stalking, like, I would be terrified if someone I didn't know knew the password to my house lol But no hate on the series, LITA is my favorite bl and I'm loving this one so far, that was just my opinion, sorry if I gave the wrong impression

I didn’t read the book, but I thought the same thing - here, Cir believes in what he’s saying. At least, I…
I hope there will still come a day in which Mame will write a story without SA, stalking or with for once just a 100% healthy relationship really 🥲

So, I wanted to share a theory that I've been thinking about since I saw the final trailers and that for me is gaining strength with each episode that is released. In Love In The Air some scenes between Rain and Phayu were "softened", probably trying to build a more positive image of Phayu, like in the bathroom scene for example. I read the novel and honestly these changes and Boss's own superb acting transformed the character into someone much more likable, in my opinion the Phayu in the book is very much built on the cliché image of a controlling and proud top, without many layers (and because of the changes in the series I fell in love with our favorite manipulator).

Because of this, I believe they could also do the same thing with Cir. I know that in the original novel he has always stalked Phu since high school and used the accident and the parallel world as a great excuse to get closer to him. However, in the series he dreams about the "parallel world" where he and Phu are a couple before waking up, besides, we see from his perspective the moment he wakes up, where he looks truly confused.

My theory is: he really knows everything about Phu because he stalks him, however, he is not exactly lying about the parallel world; for me they will soften the story by making it so that, after the accident, his brain was disfigured by his own desire to be with Phu. Maybe he wished that in a "parallel world" he and Phu could finally be together, a desire so intense that it caused his memories to be altered after the shock of the accident, making him truly believe that he is the Cir who came from another world, mixing his real memories with what he wanted to have happened.

They would still break up when Phu discovered the truth and Cir regained his normal memory, but I think it would be much more due to the fact that Phu didn't trust that Cir's feelings were real and the stalking than because Cir lied. He would still be a bit crazy for stalking him for all these years, but I think that this mental prison he put himself in would give an interesting psychological layer to the character, a prison created by Cir's inability to continue living in a world where he and Phu are not a couple, not to mention the issue with his mother and arranged fiancée.

Anyway, this comment ended up looking more like a dissertation text and I doubt anyone will read it until the end lol but I wanted to share this theory, maybe it makes sense or maybe the story will follow its original course, but it would be an interesting twist.
