I loved Detective L and really wished it had a sequel but so far, nothing. I'm currently watching Douluo continent at the moment - I've seen a few seasons of the donghua, so I don't mind where they leave off. Great article. I think they do try to do what they can but work on ratings for budgets, so anything not classed as a huge hit doesn't get a sequel.
Totally agree with this article. Consent (or rather lack of) is especially an issue in C dramas. Also, the idea that all men love dumb women is really annoying and not true. However, as mentioned in the article, the friendships are fantastic. Great article.

I love romances that are quirky, where people fall in love with each other in spite of (or perhaps because of) their flaws. Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge, Princess Jellyfish and My Little Monster come to mind.
Loved this drama. It left off with the feel of having a second season, which I hope it will. I would love to see what the 2 characters at the end would do next (don't want to say more in case I spoil it for anyone yet to watch). Great article too :D
