I don't know if I'm the only one who noticed but people who finished reading the webtoon, did you noticed too?
Yep.

Title Yumi's Cells Season 2 Spoiler
Warning: spoilers from webtoon. If they're planing to do a third season they'll have to add lots of new scenes…
In another comment I explained that Soonrok is the only one of her boyfriends that she actually decided to go after him first instead of waiting. I mean, with Woong someone told her "hey I know this dude and I think you two'd make a great couple!" and then she tried. For the second one was "hey I like you" and she convinced herself to like him. Convinced herself. That's the point.

I understand that people can't like this story, I understand why they prefer Woong over Babi and don't want to see a third dude but I think they're missing the point of the story: Yumi learning with her experiences and deciding what she really likes and want to do with her life.

Didn't watch 9-10 yet but lol, I read the newest comments and I'm like... wtf this story is not like any other kdrama which only tells about one girl, one boy and that's it. I'm a bit sad reading comments, honestly.

Reading this page of comments makes me unsurprised that so many people here are (and probably will forever remain)…
Ehhh... I guess they think like that because they're used to "first love ultimate love" or something like that... like there's only one person for you in your life. Either that or they don't want to see something realistic, they come just to see something nice, wonderful, cute.

For me I'm loving watching this series because I can see a character changing with the pass of time and with her experiences.
On the other hand I'm amazed by the fact that no one said that for now Yumi only dated those two guys because first one was presented by another dude, and second one declared his love/interest? She wasn't really interested in them if not because they moved first. With the latest one everything is different tho

@bowwie No idea if you'd read the webtoon but if you think Babi is a boring ML just wait for the latest one because as a bf is great but as a character for a drama series is boring too (because no misunderstandings, drama or anything like that, just everything is great lol)

At this point I'm a bit scared of what they are going to do (either stop in S2 with a Soonrok in the last 3 episodes or a full season adding lots of new scenes and misunderstandings)

I know, I'm being a bit negative, but 🙃

Title Yumi's Cells Season 2 Spoiler
Warning: spoilers from webtoon. If they're planing to do a third season they'll have to add lots of new scenes…
Thing is... we've a s2 with Babi that is like almost a perfect boyfriend (except the *important* part where he started to like Da Eun... well, we're not sure yet what happened, perhaps they changed it or not... let's see) while she's struggling trying to become a writer.

Okay, now she's a writer and her bf started to like someone else (I'm talking about s2 not the webtoon) so If they break too, we'll have a s3, and what are they going to tell exactly in s3? because I don't see any conflict with Soonrok. 14 episodes of them doing more or less what she'd done with Babi with one only conflict that is the plagiarism issue is just too much (and honestly seems pretty boring)

On a different matter, there're no rumors about who is going to play Soonrok.

Title Yumi's Cells Season 2 Spoiler
i want to wait until it's over so i can binge watch it, but i'd like to ask a question (which will probably be…
Warning: spoilers from webtoon.

If they're planing to do a third season they'll have to add lots of new scenes for Soonrok because they used some of them for Babi, scenes like when Soonrok went to a blind date or when Yumi had to sleep in Soonrok's house. Also the scene when they're kissing and she touches his butt.
So If you have like 60 chapters with Soonrok and you take some scenes from him, for a third season of 14 episodes they'll have to add more drama (extend plagiarism part for example?) and more sweet moments I guess.

If you ask me... I think that those scenes they changed are so important that I don't think it's a good idea to add a third season... but let's see.
Soonrok is so direct and honest... I don't want to see weird dramas around his personality or misunderstadings, honestly.

Why chinese censor don't allow time travel dramas? Do you know?
They don't allow it when the time travel is triggered by an accident (this whole thing started with Scarlet Heart). When there is a reason why they can do it they don't have any problem (examples: First Love Again (2021) and Shining for One Thing (2022), both used a mobile phone. And they were going to release another time travel story this year... The Night Wanderer, but sh*t happened lol).

Anyway here in Legally despite it was a dream, in the latest episodes she is having prophecy dreams without any explanation (no idea about the story/this part in the novel). So dunno, their censorship is quite strange.

There are also these guildelines for streaming platforms like Tencent put out in 2017 https://web.archive.org/web/20170630135640/http://www.cnsa.cn/2017/06/30/ARTI0Qg4cp7jtd1Z5o0RnfzM170630.shtml…
I think they ban the stories that the time travel is triggered by an accident. This all started because in Scarlet Heart if I remember correctly, FL time traveled after being electrocuted.
Here FL also had an accident and that could be the reason why they have to say "it was a dream".

But recently they released First Love Again and Shining for One Thing and they are not censored, the difference? in both of them the time travel was triggered by a mobile phone.

I'm not sure this is really the place for your rant either. Viki is completely upfront with the fact that you…
I pay 1 euro for HD without adds which I think is a nice price (unfortunately they removed this option last year). But still, Viki's price is expensive if you compare it with other services that have a lot of series/movies and they even produce their own content paying for translators. Viki should be cheaper, honestly, they don't have an enormous catalog, they don't pay to translate and a lot of their series aren't available for everyone.
I think Viki is great idea but it should be cheaper. I'm not sure but I read some months ago a conversation on discord about their price and catalog in Asia. Seems like if you compare our Viki with theirs it is cheaper there with more content. Everything is more expensive in Europe *sobs*

Iqiyi in my opinion is also expensive but at least when they release something their subs are fast. Careful with them because old series/movies have 'automated subs' that are a bit horrible.

Never had WeTV or Youku so I can't talk about their service. IIRC Youku is like 1-2 euro, but I'm not sure.

Netflix is also expensive (this is why I left that service one year ago, because for me it wasn't worth and in Europe we have to wait until they finish broadcasting it, for example Our Beloved Summer that ended one week ago but we have to wait until 14 feb to see it on Netflix). We (in Europe) barely get chinese dramas licensed, most of them are korean. At least they are trying to get japanese dramas.

Viki is 5 euros in my country and I'm paying 4,50 euros for HBO. HBO pays for professional translators. imo Viki is expensive.

I think it starts to get annoying this plot. They just starting dating again and they already breaking up. And…
It's their way of explaining what happened 5 years ago when they broke up. I mean, they'll have to deal again with going to another country for some time plus (we're not sure yet) grandma in hospital or dying.
YS will try to give up again but now they are adults and they should have learned what they want and what to do. They really need to overcome what happened in the past.

How's Run on? Many said it's slow and not that good. wanted to watch it too :)
I'm watching it and honestly I find their dialogues unnatural. I'm in ep 5 tho.

First of all, why are you blaming them for someone else's unrequited love ??!!!
Last question, is it really love that he has for ys?

^no. He was just used to it and closed himself down. He didn't even notice that CR likes him until ep 12 when Team Leader told him. I really think that that scene is where he started to move on.

This is like the dog. At some point you have to move on, but you have to do it instead of waiting for someone/something to do it for you.

he is funnily pitiful to me, i laughed at his scenes a lot bcs his depressive face (im sorry i find it comedic…
I'm sure he wants an amazing love story in real life XD

But for real I'd feel bad casting him for this story. He is a professional and shouldn't mind it but still..
