try watching A Dream of Splendor on viki, every 5th comment is about LLTG
I turn them on when I rewatch dramas, besides crazy lady who curses everybody with demons and devils, other comments were or funny or observant, shocked when I saw comments on A Dream of Splendor, like what a hell does this got to do with LLTG, I mean comparing Crystal Liu with Zhao Lu Si and Chen Xiao with Leo Wu?

I was just talking to my boys in guild, I think my menopause is kicking in, and I am constraining myself to jump to some of these drama pages and go like a rocket on them, just out of spite 😂
I usualy read novel of series, although here is not exact adaptation, but sometimes it helps to see certain thoughts from leads that are not transfered to drama. And novels usualy have more skinship then drama so I alwasy giggle when I see kiss scene in drama, but in novel was horizontal tango 😛

Agree. He is operating from clean slate, and she operates based on past experience. She knows that his sense of responsibility is far greater then anything else and she "knows" when he remembers everything he will again choose his duty. Girl had to cut losses and save herself from later heartbreak. "But Yan Dan, I'm not him" and then bloody idiot went and broke memory pearl. Judging from previews her believes got shook and she changed gear migty fast (and now I know why 21 episode will be enough). And my inner petty sadist is disappointed But watching new trailer, YY is gonna turn demon, demons are free to love, YD will be his queen and biggest support, there is going to be awesome war, all friends they helped on their adventures to gain power will get together to fight on their side. All of them will change rules and realms, we will get Gou Dan and they will get happy ending 😛 There
Finally finish watching ep 39. It is emotional, but still not as angsty as I feared. It is another Yan Dan temper…
Yan Dan was imature in first arc and like a child thought that loving someone with pure heart was enough "love conquers all" and in the end she only wanted to hear from YY that he loved her and that she was enough. If he admitted that he loved her, who knows what could have happened, maybe she would grow up and accept him and his responsibilities, and it would be enough, and maybe thousand other things, but drama didn't went in that direction and we wouldn't have this story.
She choose with her heart first time and now she choose with her head. She finaly grown up enough to put love in second place just like YY did in heaven realm. If you could understand him then, then you can understand her now. He was protecting all realms, but she is protecting herself now.
One of the hardest things is declining the love of person you love most in your life and I aplaude her because you could literaly see breaking her own heart again.
Her character just like it is, is my bias, and I think it was time to see reverse situation. At the end if you give everything of yourself is it wrong to expect anything less?
