can someone explain to me the time line between the 5 main story line
FahPhoon's story starts 1st i.e. 2 months before university 1 sem and then it comes to an halt when the sem starts. HillEaster's story happens in sem 1 and JohanNorth's story happens in sem 2. Then FahPhoon's story continues for sem 3 and 4 (they take quite sometime to get together) i think the others story starts after this.. I'm not sure I've only read these 3 novels
I lack patience so i went ahead and read the novel. Damn they're the cutest❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. Lot of things are actually kinda unclear in the drama. Like phoon keeps asking his dad to let him meet fah multiple times in the drama but in the novel he does it once. The chair by the window fah got it cz phoon kept looking out the window when he 1st visited. Phoon's dad doesn't agree for the dorm switch he was not that nice on the call in the novel. Fah pays for the whole thing and when asks phoon's dad to lie if phoon ever called to confirm. Phoon in the novel is way more "rebellious" he is not always begging he would talk back and hang up on his dad. Also they're actually gonna be in sync with season 1. There's a time skip that's why HillEaster and JohanNorth are together next episode. Fah and Phoon live together for a while tillhe switches dorns in the novel. Phoon loves Fah since he was a child but never opens up cz he thought Fun liked him. Fun was actually named after Fah cz her parents wanted her to marry him. Fah and phoon's parents are actually long time friends. Fah's parents were abroad for a while so Phoon's dad could lie to them that Phoon was his legal wife's son. So when Fun died he was scared that the wife would reveal it and that's why he breaks contact with Fah's family
Makes sense they did skip some parts cz in the novel Phoon is even more depressed than the drama and has sucidal thoughts but when u read the novel u kinda know the reasons behind all their actions . I liked some changes they did but i felt they needed to add more thoughts for Phoon's character
Loved the 1st ep🤭🤭🤭. Recently all dramas i watch are like either too toxic or green flags. For once i like something in the middle.
From what i see JamesKad's acting has improved from BGMB. I thought Toh was younger but turns out he was P'. I like the cliché innocent guy vs playboy troupe.
People complaining about them picking similar character for their new drama. Lot of other BL couples are the same🙃 like perth always is a red flag. Khaotung always hurts first in his dramas etc🙄 nothing new about it. Just cz they're not that popular doesn't mean anything they do is wrong. Also the drama is cliché but not cheap. It's just a common troupe which is not being used much lately.
Overall enjoyed the 1st ep🤭🤭 can't wait for the redemption arc.
Done with ep 5. All i have to say is Than deserves better. He's loyal, sweet, caring, handsome and a total green flag.
Akin ghosts him for years n continues to treat him like trash without giving him a reason as to why he left him. He doesn't deserve Than. At this point I'm hoping Than just ends up with his business partner🙄.
Also wth is with the ep6 promo. Theyre dating??? Just how long are they dragging this pregnancy problem. The only thing saving this drama is the 2nd couple.
I kinda feel like I'm watching doctor's mine rn but this one is tolerable
I’m so confused! But whoever is lying is about to get beat up by me!!! The lack of communication is bamboozling.…
Forget lack of communication. Akin is like a yellow flag he's constantly doubting Than. Even if Than told him truths he doesn't believe him. Reason? Nothing
I am watching ep 4 n i am starting to get bored at this point. Initially i was interested but now i feel they're just dragging things out... i thought there's like a solid base for Akin leaving Than but bro just kept doubting and misunderstanding Than. 🙃 sigh ahhhhhhh I'm disappointed. I loved this at first now it's like every ep is the same thing Akin feeling betrayed and than following him asking why🙄. There was nothing Than could do in this situation cz Akin wouldn't trust him nomatter what he did
Are they not gonna follow the original timeline?? Why are NorthJohan and HillEaster together in next episode. I thought they'd start with the initial days at the uni where Phoon gets lost and Fah goes and picks him up
Ok. Did I miss how the mention of how Typhoon's sister died? I don't see how she died would make a difference…
Fun died in a car accident when she rushed to save phoon who got into a fight at the bar. Fah doesn’t know about her death cz they lose contact once he and his family moved out of Phuket. Fah, fun and Phoon were close childhood friends but fah was closer to Phoon. Phoon just feels fah might blame him for fun's death cz everyone around him blamed him (that's not the reality). Phoon's dad and Fah's parents are in the same business so he doesn't want fah to know about his affair and phoon being an illegitimate child that's why he keeps threatening Phoon to leave him but phoon doesn’t wanna let go of his only family member.
I really had to take a step back and let out the loudest ‘ew’ when Botpleng said, “…then both of us are…
Nah the story is not about physical attraction. He's attracted to Thankun partially cz of the diary filled with memories and then he falls more seeing his caring side.
It's just bad direction and scriptwriting. They didn't show both Thankun and Phleng's emotions instead they made them day it. Thats what makes us feel disgusted and they should have kept the breakup phase for 1 whole ep they didn't do that either.
They should have showed us clearly from the start. T hating P cz he blames him. T realizing he was wrong. T falling for P. P falling for T. T feeling guilty for lieing but now he's scared to lose P. T feeling sorry towards phob. Etc... there's lot of emotions which they just delivered using dialogs instead of actions🙃🙃 it could be a masterpiece like "to my shore" drama but they failed
I personally feel the only thing off about this drama is the script and direction. This series needs more emotional depth. I don't think FB lack talent to take on serious roles cz they did an amazing job in "peaceful properties".
I think they should have showed both Thankun and Phleng's emotions a bit more. Like once the truth was revealed some flashback scenes where they show him suspecting Phleng.
They should have added more angst when the truth was revealed. They took that on a flat note. I feel they're focused on conveying details through dialogs that visual cues so everything sounds like they're reciting instead of living the characters.
Also they should have kept the breakup phase for 1 complete episode to give us an impression that Phleng mourned for his lover before he moved on to his brother🙃🙃 and also showed both of them feeling guilty, contradicted, disgusted, sad etc.. but they failed there. They didn't show this they just threw in dialogs for this.
Since the main focus of the drama is their romance not the case they should have paid attention towards the emotional side but they failed there
The plot is Phleng (book) in an "accident" loses his memories leaving him with nightmares and sometime later his mom ends up paralyzed. 10 or 15 years later an anonymous person sends him a diary which has memories of him and his 1st love who he met during his teens at his mom's vacation house. Just when he is wondering who it is he gets a message from a man saying he's his boyfriend Thankun (Force) and asks him to meet him his Phleng's mom's vacation house. With no one telling Phleng what happened 5 years ago and drawn to Thankun after reading the diary he decideds to go there so that he'd know what happened, probably cure his nightmare and this feeling of emptyness he felt after losing his memories. When he gets there he ends up finding a dead body and gets involved in a murder case as a suspect but Thankun being the criminal investigator helps him out. Days go by Pleng tries to reminiscent his past with Thankun but soon he starts feeling something is off and his friend also keeps insisting and finding evidences that Thankun is not his lover but he's just pretending. So he ends up testing Thankun by feeding peanut cookies to check for peanut allergy but it just proves that he is his lover. Eventually phleng gets to know that Thankun was infact lieing and his lover was Thanpob (junior) and that he was murdered when he returned to thailand to look for Phleng 5 years ago. So Thankun suspected that Phleng murdered his brother and is now pretending to have lost his memories and decided to approach Phleng as his first love. Soon thankun realises that phleng is innocent but he doesn't come clean cz now he is on love with him. So now that Phleng knows the truth is obviously angry with Thankun for doing this to his brother's lover so Thankun tells him he did it because he fell in love with him. Thankun tries to make up but Phleng always had this invisible wall against him. Eventually Thankun gets into an accident and Phleng comes to take care of him cz he loves him too but he's disgusted by the fact that he's in love with his lover's brother. Thankun then apologizes and opens up to Phleng on how guilty and disgusted he is with himself and they makeup
Backstory of Thunpob: he is a sickly kid from a rich family who is overprotected so when th e family comes to Thailand he sneeks out using his step brother's name Thankun. Thats how he meets Phleng and they promise to meet every year but phleng ends up losing his memories and this doesn't happen. Soon Thunpob falls ill cz of organ failure so Thankun ends up donating organs to him. Once he recovers he comes back to Thailand looking for Pheng to settle down and have a family here.
Backstory of Thankun: adopted by a rich family as a companion to their sick son but the brothers had a really good bond.
For now there's no progress on the murders that's happened
