Can anyone tell me who Xiao Fan ends up with? People keep telling me that in the novel he ended up with Xue Qi but she's a supporting role so I don't know how that works. Also I really just want Bi Yao and Xiao Fan to end up together forever! Please help me out.

Yes, you missed it. They kissed twice on the lips from what I can remember. Once was when Jun was caught in the trap poisoned by snakes so Wei Young kissed him to give him the medicine. The second time they were both willing; when Jun gave her half of the stone and said he will look at the stone when he misses her thinking that it is her. After Wei Young tells Jun the truth about her identity and he accepts her anyway.

Thought the exact same thing as you. I was basing it on the opening and ending so thought things would move on a lot faster. Also thinking at some point that she would be taken by the Rouran people where she'd become more powerful...

I was also thinking that I wanted to see her story continue.

The husband dying at the end and leaving her to age alone is TRAGEDY! I cried and didn't want to. Everything about the drama was exceptional but I hate tragedy. The most I can give is 5/10 It would've been a 10 if they didn't die. Also Ah Rou killed Wei Young's maid, that messed me up :'(

I would also watch if there's a season 2 because it might explain what the hell happened.

If both leads die why didn't they label as tragedy wtf...Not watching it thanx for the spoil, helped me a lot.

I agree, felt like they just tried to kill everyone off just so Buqi had absolutely no one to rely on. And what tf happened with her grandfather Zhu? Apparently he was still alive. Also what happened to her taking back the Zhu family. I was hoping it would end with her having her own successful career as the head of the Zhu family but she ends up as Lotus Robe Knight and there's no mention of the Zhu family.
