this show was really good but the finale was just so...... :(( (spoiler below)
So, I'm tempted to watch the drama but I don't want to see the ending. Is there a good episode stopping point where I could leave off and feel satisfied? This trick has worked for me on other dramas.
I really hope to see more of him on screen. He is great in Rise of Ning, such an exceptional character. He had already caught my eye in the Blue Whisper and the Longest Promise just because he seemed familiar to me, but he gets the most screen time in Rise of Ning.
Also I am planning to watch the Legend of Heros, but I heard that only part 1 has aired, so wanted to wait until part 2 comes out to binge the full story.
her best work is Wonderland of Love indeed and it’s her first project as screenwriter. reflecting on her past…
I just learned that she was the author of Both Wonderland of Love and Goodbye My Princess! Shocking, but I adored Wonderland of Love, and thought I liked GMP until the end (never want to experience THAT again). So I wondered if any of her other works would interest me too, but so hard to know. Wonderland of Love was truly a gem of a story, both the political intrigue, and the characters.
I really liked this drama, no clue why it got such a low score. I would have to guess some people disliked the storyline, but in terms of being well-written, well-acted, and well-shot, it was great.
I appreciate all spoilers honesty, the reason I check spoilers, because I know myself, that is, I’m a fluffer…
Watching Goodbye My Princess was something I never want to re-live again. But I still get caught occasionally by watching something with a sad ending without knowing it. I like when people drop hints for us in the comments.
Noone knows for sure which one is the closest, but among his upcoming dramas, the one who already passed censorships…
Wow, I didn't know Deep Lurk was even going to come out. But I'd be happy to see it. I'm the most excited about Hero Legends because the genre appeals to me and we get to see Aero Shao in it as well from MLC.
Hi everyone, I'm on episode 4 and loving it! There's something very classic about the way this story is told. However, can someone tell me if the low rating is because it has a bad ending, or just because people are comparing it against so many other versions? I'm not familiar with the story at all and started this for He Yu, who is quite charming.
Well, since everyone is in a tizzy about the ending, I'll give my two cents: which is that though the final scene is set up as if it is a tragedy, the story set out that the combination of the three artifacts should cancel out any negative effects they had, and the Mo sorcerer was trying to give that power to Shen Zhiheng because he's a good man (which he succeeded in doing). So, the main characters thought Shen Zhiheng was going to die when the sun rose, but really, they could be mistaken and he was totally fine when the sun rose.
I like the optimism under this post. Which is, maybe some of these dramas will be stored for years and eventually come out. It's much easier to store a book in a box for 30 years than to keep a drama on servers though. People in the drama business have it tough!
Is this story as sad or dark as Heroes (with Joseph Zeng)? I really want to watch a wuxia drama like Blood of Youth, Mysterious Lotus Casebook, Dashing Youth, etc, and this one comes up, but Heroes is about as dark as I want to get right now.
That one I do enjoy because Joseph Zeng's character is such a good person that he balances out the dark tone of the story.
