just started watching, finished 2 eps and it is getting a bit disappointing because it seems to me like i already…
A little advice, dont pay much attention to the romance but try to appreciate the friendships and parent-kid storylines, trust me you will love Reply 1988.
theres so much hype over this as the greatest historical drama ever and i want to watch it but im afraid i wont…
My advice: Only start watching this amazing show if you have time. You can't work/sleep/study etc when watching it. Not possible. At least I can't. Still have got 12 eps left. Tomorrow will do.
Was it scary? I love ocn dramas but i cant watch horror genre.
Agree with Namopanik. Not scary, at least not yet. Just people who potray themselves as angels on earth but are disgusting as hell. If you managed to watch previous OCN dramas, you can go ahead and watch it.
OMG, Ep. 12 has been so good. I can't believe he's in the past again. Will the action take place now…
Hmm... So you think even if Park Kwang Ho catches the murderer in the past, the present won't change?
I am happy for him that now he is back to his wife. But I will miss his interactions with Sung Shik and Sun Jae. I also wish for them to come together at some point in the story ...
Nope, you are not wrong :D
He's one of my most favorite actors too. Till now I have watched: Pride, Love Generation, One Million Stars Falling from the Sky, Karei naru Ichizoku. Especially his portrayal of Manpyo Teppei was admirable.
if compare to Signal and Voice, which is better? thanks..
For me, Signal had everything and even more I wished for. A great script. Most of the cases were based on true incidents. İt is not a must but it makes it even greater. Both of the heroes were fantastic as a team as well as on their own. We could see their human sides and feel their pain. The heroine was not a simple bonus to the story, but essential. Both in her characteristics as well as in her abilities.
No offense to Voice fans but İ neither liked the story nor the characters. The only thing that kept me watching (I mostly read the recaps of most of the parts) was the killer's motive and nature. My conclusion, Kim Jae Wook's portrayal was praiseworthy but the story behind his doings was not new land.
Tunnel is for me not on Signal level, not yet at least. But much much better than Voice.
well, I guess everyone is happy b/c Jae Yi is his daughter it seems... :/ although her real name is Yeon Ho...…
Hey there :) I will comment on your Jung Ho Young theorie :) I too think he witnessed the murders. Just before spotting his last victim he had a flashback. The victim in the flashback said "Ajhussi ... I have a child." She must be Kim Sun Jae's mother. Furthermore I don't think she would call Jung Ho Young 'Ahjussi' since he was still a high school student back then. Thus he must be a witness. Otherwise he couldn't have had the flashback.
The story wants us to think the med examiner is suspicious. What again with that comment: "I told him not to chase him but to wait for him. I guess he failed again." Is he Jung Ho Young's mentor? Thus the original killer Jung Ho Young imitates? Anyway like anyone else here I don't want the forensic doctor to be the killer.
Thank you very much for the post. A great way to cover both history and dramaland. Actually my mom's dad also served in the Korean War. He was doing his mandatory military service of 2 years when the war broke out. He had no choice but to join the war. My grandma was pregnant with her first child back then, she stayed at her in-law's. When the war was still ongoing, they were informed by the military that my grandfather was killed. I don't know how it is called but that thing soldiers carry with them for identification, the military even sent that of my grandfather to his family. Well and some time later after the war came to an end, my grandfather just appeared in front of his parents house :) after everyone calmed down, my grandparents were left alone so my grandfather asked her that she was pregnant, and if one of the two little boys playing in the yard he saw was theirs. Well it was (the other boy was his brother). They had seven more children, my mom being the last :) I never got to know him since he died before I was born. I would have liked to ask him about the war. But I am still happy that he made it back home and died peacefully in his sleep.
Just curious. May I ask which country you are from? My grandfather was Turkish.
- Lee Sang Yoon
- Yoo Ji Tae
- Jo Seung Woo

There's no Tunnel this weekend, right? Two weeks are too much to wait :((
