i don't think this drama was meant to be disturbing in the psychological sense, but rather in the uncomfortable and the blood and violence. although considering what miike is like, this drama is by far not one of his most disturbing works.

exactly. that's what i was thinking at the time. i stopped by to read the comments and i got into a bad mood. i don't know what they were expecting, really.

and I say this because there are people who only criticize and don't take into account the story, the performances or anything else... and that bothers me.

it bothers me a lot when people criticize just because it's gore and violent. if you don't like that style of dramas in the first place i don't know what you're doing here, there are tags that warn you what topics are going to be played.

As soon as I saw the news I got excited. I would love to see Jeon Jong Seo in a romantic comedy.

I agree. They wanted to make everything so miserable that it felt very fake and you don't get to fully connect with the FL. If they had done that flashback thing you say it would have been much better and wouldn't have felt so rushed.

The truth is that I didn't empathize much with FL. It was so many things and it was all so miserable that it felt forced. The first episode was a bit "meh". But the second episode was much better.
