It reminded me of hometown, especially with the creepy lady and Shin Hakyun's super calm demeanor. Fingers crossed…
The lady in white dldkdidksksksks Hometown had started out so well and then I don't know what happened to it. It was a drama that I enjoyed but it got a bit messy.
The trailer looks amazing. Although you can't trust it because it wouldn't be the first time it's a disaster, but I like the actors so I have expectations.
I know you can't trust anything, but from the synopsis it sounds entertaining and I'm curious to see how it will be.... if there are subtitles of course
You either love Sion Sono or you hate him. There is no middle ground. I'm in the first group. Sion seems to me one of the best directors out there because of the originality and craziness of his films. I once read that Sion said that this movie was a bit inspired by Tarantino's Kill Bill, and I can understand why. Not only for the gore but for the nods to martial arts. I don't know, I loved this movie.
I really liked the end of episode 3, as representing the change and that she is taking the initiative to start the liberation, with her running and the wind moving her hair :( or well that's what I want to understand. Loving every second of this drama.
If you like gore festivals and extreme violence this is your movie. I've been wanting to see this movie for a long time because they said it was one of the most brutal movies. And it is. It's a tough movie and not for the faint hearted, but it doesn't bring anything new to the genre and that hasn't been seen before. It's okay. The plot isn't splendid either and I liked the ending. If you like this kind of movies it's entertaining.
The best story for me was Eun Jung's story, in fact, I kept watching it because of her story, even though she didn't appear on screen that much. I also wished for more scenes with director Soo, I deeply loved his character. Overall the drama was very good, I loved the friendship between the four of them, I also wish they would have focused on Eun Jung's brother, but overall I enjoyed it even though there were parts that got boring for me.
