Smiling Man

Episode 4 has some scenes that portray 2007 Iraq as a war zone. or at least some areas still had intense fighting between groups. For some bizarre reason Iraqis are pissed at this portrayal saying that Iraq is now stable and that its one of the oldest civilizations. These arguments don't even make sense. I don't think they've even watched a single minute of the series. On Imdb the show has been reviewbombed and there is alot of copypasted reviews.

yeah she's had to grow up not only with the trauma of what happened to her parents but also chooses to have minimal social interaction and on top of that she has to deal with seeing those lines. so yeah it makes sense she would be weird/socially awkward. i did skim back through the first couple of episodes and noticed her acting was pretty good, with subtle facial movements, maybe its just her having her mouth half open alot that i find jarring. I'll give the whole season another watch soon and make a better judgement.

What a delightful lynchian ending. it was clearly set up with the intention for future seasons or as a precursor to another show. i dont see why the ending got so much hate. the weakest thing was arins acting, sometimes its great and other times her reactions are pretty wooden.
