i understand who you're here for now, you're calling me an anti but what are you doing in this page, talking with xfxs when it's clear you're the other dude's fan? calling me biased and then calling johnny's acting good. yeah, sure. this page is for people to say their honest opinions and i am being honest. i don't know what to rate this drama because xz is amazing in it but the other guy sucks and the script changes ruined the story. i am sorry if you can't take hearing the truth, maybe you should write your own review and praise your fave all you want.

you think they don't give xz better dramas because they know he has the most powerful fandom in c ent (and internationally) so no matter what he films, we'll watch it for him? cql was a very good drama, even if the green guy played in it but after that, i thought the wolf was not that great (but xz was obviously amazing in it) and dc was ... idk how to say this but his costar was a terrible actress, such a c-level actress and the cgi was amazing but the script was a bit childlike. i think dc wasn't a project that xz deserved either, he can do so much better than that. he elevated the drama by his mere presence but without him i think no one would watch it. i saw a lot of fans of the manga or whatever it was complain many changes were made.

and his theatre play is really good and he's getting really amazing reviews and it's a serious production and he shines there but the drramas he's doing aren't very serious and the rest of the cast is always worse than him. what should we do to change this? how can we promote xz but also not allow production to think they can do a sloppy job and we'll ignore it just because xz is in it? this is very stressing because xz was the clear breakout star of cql and he is beloved by fans and passerby alike and it makes me so angry to think that none of this matters unless you have connections in the industry and good parts are given to people regardless of their talent :(

how can i judge a drama without being biased when xz is my favorite actor? and not only that but he's clearly the best thing in this drama. you're saying that when xz doesn't play in an episode it's because his character is irrelevant??? are you an anti in disguise or something? how can one of the male leads (who was in fact meant to be the ONLY male lead) not be relevant to the story? the script chagnes and deleted scenes may have replaced him with lesser characters and lesser actors but it's obvious gyy was meant to be the star, he is the MORAL compass of the story, he's the only one who actually works hard for the military and believes in meritocracy which doesn't excist btw while GL runs around like a headless chicken, flirting with the FL and cheating his way into success like a spoiled child

the only thing this drama has made me realize is that art imitates life. the way xz got screwed over in real life because he doesn't play games and he has no capital or backing is mirrored in gyy no wonder xz gave such a powerful performance he understands what gyy is going through

i hadn't thought of it this way .... i think because i want to support xz, i want to rate it 10 stars because if it's rated super super high then lots of people will see him and come to know him for the wonderful actor that he is

what i don't understand is why xz isn't in a better drama, he's the best actor of his generation and the other day he trended on weibo for how much netizens loved his performance in at, not just us fans but netizens too so clearly, even if this drama is bad, passerby are watching and they recognize how incredible he is so why can't he film something better? is it because he filmed this after two two seven and no one wanted to work with him because of the scandal so he had to choose this project even though it sucks? and they treated him so badly too, so clearly they didn't have his best interests in mind. they probably thought it's easy to hire him now because he's in a vulnerable position and we can do whatever we want with him and he won't be able to do something about it ...

thank you all for your responses .... i'm sorry for asking this, i'm just feeling very sad about the whole thing. i was waiting for ool to air in september, with the countdown and everything and then that didn't happen so when they aired at i thought i will finally actor xz after so long and now i barely see him in some episodes it's like dramas4me said in some episodes he plays for less than a minute and the GL has this whole cringy cheese idol-like romance with the FL while gyy and a xiu we barely see plus what happened in the latest episode (i won't say because spoiler) how is that fair?? it feels like someone changed the script to please some higher up ....

i think i will keep the 10 for now but i want to see how the drama ends and maybe i'll change it

can i ask a question? i have already voted this drama 10 stars because i want to support xz who did an amazing job as gyy he is the star of this drama and he is the absolute best character and actor in the show, he shines in every scene he's in but the more i watch it, the less gyy plays and it's starting to feel like they really duped us and betrayed xz after all. i thought that because they reinstiated the male lead (alphabetical order) they also fixed the deleted scenes problem but now that the drama is ending, i never see xz :( i just want to know, should i remove the 10 star rating? i don't want to give away my rating to jonny and if he is the one that will take all the credit for this drama, then he doesn't desrve it. is there a way to rate this drama but let them know it's ONLY for gyy? because xz is the only good thing in it and i don't want the praise to go to those who don't deserve it and are bringing the drama down ....

and xz was meant to be the undeniable lead, he signed 1st lead, he was promoted during casting in 2020 as first lead but then johnny used his capital to get the production to change everything. they deleted xz's scenes as gyy and replaced them with the cheesy, terrible idol-drama plot that GL has with the FL. you can tell the serious drama this could have been was destroyed alongside xz's scenes and any chance of the drama not being a flop has disappeared. they really screwed up! now we xfxs are promoting xz's character of course GYY because he deserves it, xz is playing him amazing, he is an amazing actor, the best actor in c ent and even with the deleted scenes his character shines but unfortunately johnny has ruined the drama with his dead eyes and his terrible acting and his character who is basically nepotism and no talent makes the world go round

exactly!! that's what i've been saying since the start. xz is the undeniable lead which is why all of us are so upset at the deleted scenes. he was meant to be the lead, iqiyi put xz first billing for merchant's conference to get the traffic and on the casting page for extras when it was filmed last year no to mention xz filmed so much longer than johnny did so clearly he had more scenes so what happened? he got duped and we got duped too! i also hope xz will have a good lawyer who will help him with the contracts from now on because what happened was unacceptable!! of course we're supporting of him ALWAYS and we watch this drama for him only but the production stepped on him only to promote this useless GL and we will never forgive never forget i hope xz can now protect himself better with all these luxury brands he now has the money and the power back in his hands, he won it fair and square and he can use it to protect himself from the terrible c ent

i saw some antis saying that we're wrong to praise jia zhangke as the director of this short film and i don't understand why? they're saying he's not the one who directed it but i saw the video and he is listed as the producer/director at the very beginning!!! are they lying again because they want people to think that a good, esteemed director wouldn't wanna work with xz? can they finally stop with this? i'm so tired of seeing people disrespect xz ....

are you saying xfxs are lying then? all i said i learned from sources on twitter that are very legitimate and yes i can list them to you if you want, i can give you the names. they're very big xfx accounts, some of them are chinese so they're obviously very trustworthy. they always post the original weibo source and translate the text for us. why would c xfxs boycott iqiyi if xz's male lead role wasn't stolen? xz himself posted himself on the plane shutting the window when the trailer came out and his studio said absolutely nothing. if we hadn't followed what he said and demanded iqiyi to reinstate him as male lead, we would never have gotten the correction. iqiyi obviously realized that the other dude isn't drawing any crowds and it's xz who is doing all these great ratings (DC was the biggest drama of 2020 obviously because of xz) so they changed their words to bring us back so the drama doesn't stay burried. but it's very clear they couldn't bring back all the deleted scenes of xz. isn't that why the number of episodes got less??? and since you are asking for sources, they're so easy to find!! maybe you don't have twitter ig or you don't follow true xz fans but the turtle fandom
