Everyone out there is reasoning about how common it is for Asian parents to try to control their children's lives and behave in such a way in the name of love for children... I'm sorry to say but I also belong to Asian household... But have never witnessed such a greedy and annoying behaviour from anyone out there.. I mean like how could you intend to take over someone else's property and then if they are generous enough to let you stay.. how could you be shameless enough to simply throw that owner to attic to live in and have a master bedroom and other rooms to yourself.. CH's mother's character is just too annoying for me to handle.. it just pisses me off...

It annoys me the way grandma gave away the Xing'anli to Mais and then bank balance and jewelry to Mais.... And lastly the only thing given to Zhiming (old house) was also rented away to Mais.. 🙄 I mean The old lady knew about Zhiming's ambitions but didn't she knew about Mais greed. Now the way they have been living in the house..
I don't like grandmas bianess. I mean okay she didn't want Zhiming to take over Xing'anli.. but still she shouldn't have just given away the entire Xing'anli to Cheng Huan. After all ZM is real grandson. He just got to have a house which grandma had sore memories attached to and didn't cherished much. While the one thing close to her heart Xing'anli was given to CH and not even a bit of it was given to ZM.... For me it shows ZM hold little importance as compared to CH.. in the farewell she rarely mentioned ZM and everything was directed towards Mais and CH as if ZM was just a side relative and not her own true grandson. I also found it weird when she said tell my son I've taken care of his son . As if it's give n take... No emotions attached. If it was me. I would feel sad..

Overall, I just don't like the way drama is surrounded by FL's breakup and more of a silly arguments between mother daughter.. there's a lot more important stuff to show and explore apart from this family drama. ML is being ignored as far as I've felt...

Its more like, the former sword wielder knew about her identity of being a wufeng, that's how he too found out.. later he set a plot by pre-planing and getting her involved to chase infinite heat. She got manipulated and helped him as they had common goal (or as she thought to be)
