Finally! I was waiting on someone to talk about the ending so I can rant about it too. I was looking forward to…
His hair wasn't white when he made that promise. His hair turned white in the last episode. They completely left out the scene but had it in the trailer and the MV at the end.
Right. I cried the hell of my heart out for this drama. It's so nice, but the ending was so sad. There are many…
Really?! Oh man! I hope that that rumor is true because I can't stand the current ending. Too heartbroken. I was almost certain this was gonna end happy but I was wrong. I guess we will have to wait and see. My hopes are flying in the air. =)
I liked Love o2o. It was very light-hearted and I enjoyed every episode. I hope this remake of Legend of the White Snake will have a happy/satisfying ending. Praying to the lord of C-dramas.
Yeah. I enjoyed the drama. Just sad about the the ending. I guess we should be use to it by now. Historical/Fantasy/Wuxia dramas usually have sad endings. China pulling the heartstrings. Now that I've finished and had time to heal from Legend of Yun Xi and Destiny of White Snake, I'm ready to be a victim of the next drama. Hahaha. I have not seen Oh My General. I heard people like it but haven't gotten to it.

Yes! Fa Hai was good and didn't ruin everything like in the other versions. We can blame their destinies in this version. Ouuu... yeah. Based on the trailer, Heavy Sweetness Ashlike Frost looks really good and so beautiful. I can't wait! Will it really have a happy ending? I need to heal my soul with Deng Lun's smile.

@ ForgottenSoul It definitely wasn't happy or you know it should have been happy and they edit it out or something because the scene from the MV at the end and the trailer hints a happy ending but wasn't in the drama. Everything before the ending was good tho.

LOL! Guess she'll just stay down there and pray. Hope there is a 100 year later sequel. *crossing fingers* These C-dramas leaving depressed after seeing them. Feels like they didn't know how to end it. It just deflated. I enjoyed it even with that ending. It was different from the original story. I like the character change for Xu Xuan. Liked how he wasn't some clueless/useless guy.
Based on my limited understanding of Chinese, I believe he is prince of another state that fell. He took the identity…
Ture but there is a limit. I don't speak Mandarin at all but through years of watching C-dramas, I can understand the basic but miss out on the details. A lot of phrases in historical dramas are hard.

Agreed! Hate how she didn't even get to see him after getting her sight back. Her last words to him before entering the tower were so mean. Why they have to leave it at that? Also, if they were gonna put something in the trailer, should it be in the drama? I would have liked it better if they died together too. Hope there is a short special second season about their next life since she said "This life's promise, don't break it in the next" or something like that before she jumped off the bridge. I know it's a stretch but I'm gonna keep dreaming. haha
There's also the bit about Fa Hai and Xiao Qing. They need a next life too. T^T
I cannot make sense of the ending. Was there supposed to be an extra episode 61 out there? I for sure thought…
Finally! I was waiting on someone to talk about the ending so I can rant about it too. I was looking forward to a happy ending from the music video. That scene from the mv was in the trailer too but not seen in the drama. Maybe they initially made it end on a happy note but changed it. Idk. The last scene from the MV looks like he came to her before she jumped off the bridge. I hope they have an ep 61 with an alternate ending. *sigh*
I watched it White Snake and Yun Xi raw but I'm not fluent in Chinese so I'm going to watch them again when they are fully subbed to pick up the details I missed.
Man! Legend of Yun Xi really had me depressed for a whole week after I finished mainly because I was so surprised/confused by the ending. I was shipping them really hard too! haha. A lot of people like the novel and were disappointed that they didn't follow the novel. I felt like they should have spent more time in obtaining the permission to included more events from the novel (not sure how the process works but yeah) lol.
I'm waiting on The Eternal Love 2! lol. I read somewhere that they changed a lot of things from the Legend of Yun Xi novel because they didn't have the rights for it. I didn't read the novel. Did the novel have a happy ending at least? I wouldn't complain if they make a second season because I want an explanation for the ending too. Best if they keep the original cast.
I hope this remake of Legend of the White Snake will have a happy/satisfying ending. Praying to the lord of C-dramas.
