So typical of Kdrama chaebols……The chairwoman blames Audrey for her son’s death because he was looking for…
I agree with everything you wrote. K-drama characters typically blame their own failings and mistakes on those of lower status than them. Of course, Audrey is intimidated because she has nobody by her side. She thinks her son hates her because he does not know what happened.
The FL's dad who seems to know what happened with her husband's death is not exactly a forthcoming fountain of information. So Audrey is left to feel guilty about something that is not her fault and he could help her understand if he opened his mouth instead of watching her suffer. What a coward.
JN always wanting MG to give in and do things her way but she never keeps her word. So thinking only about JN…
To me, GH's character is hard to root for because she doesn't seem to pick up on any clues either in her relationships or work. I can understand her not having much experience dating but there have been physical clues she should have picked up on that something is just not right with her relationship and she seems to ignore those. She also has no clue the ML likes her even though he has give obvious hints.
She also, is the only one at the company in her department working hard. Everyone else sits around talking. taking breaks and no one offers to help her when they see her struggling with piles of clothes. She sees nothing wrong with that and seems to think hard work is going to get her somewhere.
Oh well, they are going to drag out Gong Hui finding out she is being played with for at least 5 more episodes. I doubt if Angry Kang will tell her. She should though.
So based on next weeks trailer may finally be getting to a point wher DaRim finally acknowledges she may have…
Apparently the Chairman had no real feelings for his wife and her son at all. He did absolutely nothing to fight for them. Just let them go like they really meant nothing to him.
I still can't believe the writer blew up the one relationship that should have been given a chance to develop after an entire 1/8 of one episode. But I should have expected it because on average K-drama writers are awful at writing romance. They do breakups and miscommunication very well though,
Finally, an interesting episode. The writer needs to do better with darim and her family. I also hope bom's father…
I guess it's too much to expect the writers to let one relationship succeed without all the unnecessary and dumb drama. So far in this drama we barely seen Bom spend any time with his daughter. She is either sitting by herself or with other people in the neighborhood while he spends all his time in the restaurant. So, now he is going to be by himself all sad for no reason.
Make him her servant? What kind of marriage is that? Every bad decision he made happened before she came into…
I was kind of hoping they would take a different direction with Hong Dan and Gong Bu. Since she was more level headed take charge of his practice so it could start making a profit and help him grow to be more responsible as a doctor and potential husband. There is no need for this couple to be playing silly games.
I do agree with you. But if Gina is smart (I mean that!🤣😏) she should register their marriage and keep it…
Yes not many are written that way. It's seems to the go to is to have a doormat FL who only pushes back against the ML while letting her family and co-workers walk over her.

This one of my pet peeves about K-drama writing. Writers act as though they don't know how to develop a strong FL. I enjoy dramas where whether it's the ML or FL put at a disadvantage they use their wits to out smart the ones attempting to under mind them. If the ML and FL work together to do this even better.
This is not an action drama and they wrote the FL with tomboy traits. Which is pretty useless in her battle with Angry Kang. A battle which is pretty one sided right now because the FL keeps falling into whatever trap Angry Kang sets for her.
I couldn't tell. I am not sure it's his place to tell her. Let her find out on her own. But it looked to me like…
She is going to get hurt either way. She is so naive in romance and thinking hard work is going to get her some place in that company. That company is one that only cares about connections and how long you been there.
So, what does the Chairwoman, the 2nd ML's father, and the 2nd FL's mother do now? The 2nd couple committed themselves to each other and I guess went to her place for some Ramen.
