Well, I don't see a believable path for the ML and FL getting together. Do you? I really don't think I want to see them together anyway.

The Chairman is a bastard here. He cannot show empathy for his bio-son, his stepson, and more importantly his wife. He married her for access to capital which shows in his conduct and lack of emotions.

He sat there listening to his wife's words but heard none of what she was saying. He made no effort whatsoever to fight for their marriage. Then he wonders out loud what he did wrong.

At this point, I think Kang Ju should give up one Da Rim and let her have and carry her one-sided crush on Tae Ung into her spinster days. I hope Tae Ung doesn't waste his time on Cha Rim either. The only relationship I want to see develop now is Gi Dong and Mi Yeon.

Those things he said to her did not need to say in that way or at all. They were needlessly harsh. I have watched a lot of so-called romance K-dramas where the writers always seem to have this need for the ML to say harsh things to the FL or act like a complete jerk towards her before they eventually get together and I don't understand why they do that.

Did the fire investigators figure out that Gang Ju was not responsible for that fire? I was wondering why they blamed it all on Gang Ju. Yes, he was responsible for dropping the lighter, but if the flammable, improperly stored chemicals had not been spilled, no fire would have happened.

At this rate, it does not seem that ML and FL will ever get together. If they do, it's going to seem rushed and forced.

Together they have the talent to start their own and even bring in his bio-mom. I think it would also bring a lot more drama to this thing with them trying raise capital/investors and all that.

I mentioned this before and I am not hating on the actress because I know she is just following direction and the script. She seems to be playing a version of a teenage FL in an adult world. Her maturity level is just not right with all the tomboy stuff. and talk about her crush while very slowly catching on with what is actually going on in her relationship with the 2nd ML.

The 2nd and 3rd FLs are acting age-appropriate while the main FL is not and she seems out of place right now. I hope she actually matures as we go forward and her relationship with the ML when it comes reflects that.

Grandma will for sure come up with something to rein him. How far she will go and how much he will buckle we will have to see.

I think until the episodes reach late 50s at least.

Major disappointment for the FL. At least she didn't find out how little the 2nd ML actually cares about her at the same time. Glad the ML called him out on his BS to his face. Not only him but the Chairwoman and Angry Kang. Called them all out.

You can't cheat and call it a win. Everyone in the company knows it's BS. Guess since they can't do anything about it 2nd FL can show her face proudly anyway.

Right now the CEO can't even get him to move back home so I don't think she can get him to marry anyone if he doesn't want to. She hasn't disclosed to him that she has cancer though, so I wonder if she will play the "I'm dying card" you need to get married and take over the company.

You are right. He does treat her like a side chick. There have been several short scenes of him talking to himself about how this is the right thing to do. But, it is not the right thing to do. He is using her to deal with his own unresolved feelings for Angry Kang and that's not fair to the FL at all. I think the writers are dropping hints about why their relationship will eventually not work out.

I wrote above that he has not told the FL about his prior relationship with the 2nd FL, but the FL did overhear a conversation they had together about dating. Shouldn't she have gotten a hint that something was up from that?

FL comes off as a little naive on dating and the games men and women can play.

I guess the ML will soon find out he will marry Angry Kang because the elders decided it would be so.

I feel bad for the FL since the 2nd ML has declared their sleeping together a mistake, he has denied to a friend that they were dating. It looked to me like she was expecting him to disclose that. I don't think he has even told her he was just dating the chick sitting behind her either.

I agree the ML was not showing much real interest in Angry Kang in the first place. He has also canceled the rest of the dates and told the CEO he is interested in someone else and I think he made clear he won't be marrying the 2nd FL.

Also agree with @TereStarr that they all need to examine their real feelings. The ML and 2nd ML and 2nd FL for sure. FL seems pretty solid in her feelings for the 2nd ML though, so the breakup is going to have to come from the 2nd ML's side.
