Can someone explain why Ha Na insisted on the meeting first and not the DNA test? And why did she act like having the DNA test with someone she hasn't met was somehow disgusting?
Okay, so now he knows. Of course, he repeats the wrong things to GH. But still, at least that pressure is off her, and he did say he would take responsibility. Now, she will have to deal with Angry Kang on the warpath. I know Dan Soo will be there for her, but she needs her mom, right, so I hope Mom can come to terms with this. She can't marry MG though that guy is not to be trusted.
And WHY would you tell a possible buyer that your company is in debt??? NEVER EVER show them your weakness before…
It's almost like the writers forgot they developed Gang Ju as savvy and business like. I mean they made a whole big deal out of him having an MBA. Did they forget there is no way he wouldn't know how to hold his cards?
Anyway, don’t see myself finishing this crappie soup opera, but I did find an much, more interesting show on…
There is a theory that a lot K-dramas get too many episodes and the writers run out of story to tell and fall back on the same tropes over and over again. Once you have seen one breakup and them reuniting it gets old when you see over and over again.
Well, I am out of this one. The writers should have ended this with the main couple on the bridge discussing their future in episode 31. I have seen way too many contrived K-drama tropes but the overused breakup line is hard to stomach and uninteresting. The setup for this one was absurd with him not waking up when his mother was repeatedly picking up his hands, breathing next to him with the cell phone light to boot. Not to mention the unnecessary breakup between the cop couple.
This story is a mess of inconsistent insufferable characters. The Chairman, Chairman's biological son, The cop…
I have to say that neither Murim or Tae Ung characters and their relationships were written very well. They were 2 very dull characters. They didn't seem at any point to be that into their partners. If they had been more charming or even provided comic relief I think I could have enjoyed them more. But, both spent this series looking like they didn't even want to be in the drama as characters in the first place.
"The most useless character award goes to tae woong" got me rolling on the floor 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I like it when writers give 2nd and 3rd couples completely different dynamic relationships than the main couple. This technique provides the viewer with a respite from the main couple's storyline even though they get way less screen time. The other couple may be more lovey-dovey from the onset or just flirt with each other endlessly.
This did not seem to happen in the drama. All the couples have been troubled from the beginning. Giving me at least, a sense of sameness. I don't enjoy them switching to the other couples' storylines because of this.
How about some light-hearted fun. Let's pick our top 3 most disliked characters. I'll go first with the obvious…
For me.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd: Chairman-Tossing his family like they were never anything to him in the first place. Force to pick two more it would be: 2nd:Tae Ung-Carbon copy of his A-hole dad. 3rd: Cha Rim-Gold digger vibes.
I gotta say they blow the tax evasion hate out of proportion. It's inheritance tax, which is a ridiculous thing…
Well, it's K-drama writing. They create rage out of the most ridiculous issues. Like an entire country would care about somebody they never heard of in their life evading any sort of tax.
she is portrait as the kind / open heart / benevolent cinderella
To me at least there is really nothing appealing about the doormat FL. I know K-drama writers cannot create enough of these type of characters so it is what it is. Everyone who cares about the FL can see her walked on daily and even called her out on it. You can see their frustration with her.
The saving grace for me with this character though is the few scenes so far that show us she is no dummy and is smart. I hope this is the way the writers are showing us how she will not lose herself, but slowly get stronger, more powerful and will be able to protect herself and love ones as the drama goes on.
