Regardless of his continued presence in GH’s life, he has the right to know. Not make a decision for her though!
That's right. This does not mean she has to marry him, but the child has a right to know his or her father, and the father has a right to know he has a child. He also needs to take financial responsibility. Really expensive to raise a child anywhere in the world. As a single parent, it's even harder to make do.
Her parents should support her but let her handle this. She is going to face tougher challenges as a single parent. If she and MG can at least figure out how to co-parent it would be better for everyone involved.
The abuse the FL suffers is very hard to take. She won't protect herself. She has had several chances to do so and backed down each time. She gets mad at anyone else who tries to help her and gives deference to her abusers. I don't quite understand why she thinks she has to endure it. Her brother as an officer of that company had every right to file that complaint and for her not to understand that is absurd. She could end up dead due to her stupidity.
It's just killing me how naive the FL is. How can she not understand with everyone involved and all that's going on that MG will find out about the child? She must tell him herself and stop with the "baby has nothing to do with Mr. Seo BS."
Yea it's total BS, i mean i would of been seriously pissed if either of my girls ended up as a teenage mum, thankfully…
It sounds like you have a really healthy relationship with your children. The kind of relationship where they feel comfortable sharing things with you without fear that you are going to overreact and freakout when they tell you what is going on in their lives.
A lot of parents never learn the lesson that being overbearing and overprotective can cause their kids not to trust or want to confide in them. The kids then try to handle issues and problems on their own without the necessary guidance from their elders.
The way I see it is GH saw her mother having a really tough time dealing with problems and didn't want to add to her worries. But, if she had been confident in mother being able to handle it she could have sat her and her father down and let them know what was going on in her life.
I agree with your points above. And yes GH should have told her mother sooner, especially that’s she’s decided…
About him not showing he has money. I am not sure if it was an actual plot hole or he didn't want show he had money to keep the ruse up with grandma about his ID as Holly.
The FL's mom cannot be that dense she can't see the kid is missing his not-so-responsible mom (who is a doctor by the way) and is acting out. It's not HD's fault and her son is about as helpful as a teapot full of holes in the situation. Even his own kid at that age can tell how useless and lazy the guy is.
So, DS being Holly is messing with MG's plan to replace him as head of the company so he may get ruthless now. He doesn't know about the baby yet and he has to tell the Chairwoman he is marrying Angry Kang. I can't stand his father, and I wonder how much MG knows about his father's interference with DS' mom.
It was not MG's mom's place to tell GH's mom about her pregnancy and that's why I was disappointed GH didn't confide in her mom in the first place. Keeping secrets from people who should know the information never works out well in K-dramas and also every time some third party spills the tea first.
I also wish GH's stupid dad would tell Audrey what happened with her husband's death so she can have something to fight back with. He probably killed him by accident responding to a call. I hope he wasn't drunk driving at the time or anything like that. Audrey needs to stop running. DS finds out he is not going to let her just leave him again.
I don't know how the DS will react to the pregnancy but I bet he tries to protect her rather than get angry at her. Of course, he is going to have to deal with Angry Kang and MG.
Still don't know why they chose "My Merry Marriage" as the English title of this drama. Maybe it will make sense at some point.
everyone sitting around talking while she does all the work
They were all sitting around backstage at the show talking about how GH was working her butt off. Not one of them offered to help or even find her to see if she needed any help.
If you are talking about Jina, that is how all these dramas are written.
Yep. And no matter how terrible or despicable they are and act they rarely face any consequence. Out of 120 to 132 episodes of acting out they might at most get 10 seconds of scolding in the very last episode.
The GB era of raising his son himself, is over right? He’s already made the little boy HD’s to take care of?I…
Yeah, it looks like he would have done a bang up job on his own when he can't be bothered to discipline the kid when he has back up. I thought he was showing some growth, but no. He is going right back to his giving as little effort as possible mode.
Well, looks like Audrey is growing a spine finally. I am sick of the treatment she has been getting from the Chairwoman and the stupid MG's father with no pushback. Hopefully, she will ask the GH's dad for help.
I was proud of GH for sticking up for herself and her baby. She will not buy into the guilt trips and threats. I wish she had told her mom first though because it looks like the MG's mom will break the news with selfish intent.
the side story with hongdan and her husband is very tiring - all the players involved , [except the kid] , are…
I found it pretty absurd for the bio-mom to attempt to guilt trip the doctor about the trials of being a single parent when that was entirely her choice by not telling him of the existence of the child in the first place. I know she was getting defensive because he was talking about keeping the kid, but that was the wrong and very weak defense.
Her parents should support her but let her handle this. She is going to face tougher challenges as a single parent. If she and MG can at least figure out how to co-parent it would be better for everyone involved.
