You are so right. I could tell that she had something up her sleeve. I also think that Woojin is trying to give his mother every chance to change, but he has already made up his mind. If she doesn't, he is ditching her and will not let go of his sister's hand again.

Su Bin, initially at least, was about to walk away with a draw during the encounter with Seong Hui. Unfortunately, instead of walking away, she decided to stay and listen further to Seong Hui's gaslighting and made a huge mistake by showing a reaction on her face. You can see clearly in that scene that Seong Hui knew at that moment what tactic to take and what had gotten through to Su Bin.

Of course, this was just one encounter, and I hope Su Bin learns that if she is going to deal with these people that she cannot be reactionary or show that she is easily offended, because they are all masters at manipulation.
