I would have a lot more sympathy for Stella if she was not already aware of how deceiving and devious the family she was seeking revenge on was. For her to dismiss why she was seeking revenge and not be on her guard against deception is just so out of character for her.

As a long-time family employee, she could have had a major hand in raising GyungChae and thought of her as her own daughter. However, she seems to care a little too much. She could have helped GyungChae overcome her grief instead of swapping babies. Knowing that she would be a single mom in a wealthy family and looked down on at large if it got out that she was a single mom.
