You are right. Being a parent is a tough job, but you do your child no favors by sheltering them from reality. If you never expose your kids to the real world, they are going to have a very tough time surviving in it. Parents can't protect their kids from everything, even though they might want to. There was no reason for Lucia to agree to the contest in the first place. She had nothing to prove by it. She was not the one that lost the faith and trust of her father by trying to force him into a nursing home and steal his chairmanship. The entire thing was absurd and dumb.
For Lucia to almost just give up like that made question why she was seeking revenge if she going to give and easy win like that.

Lazy writing and storytelling are right. They could have had Lucia and TK surprise and foil the evil duo's plan with the seafood, and still had them have to figure out and investigate why the evil duo had so many more sales than they did. This would have added a little more intrigue and suspense, granted not much. Instead, they had Lucia lying in a hospital bed, people coming to visit her after stumbling around from the effects of the seafood. Which all seem more like filler instead of moving the episode along.
Today's episode doesn't show our duo that much smarter. The ML, as director at the company, can barely manage to exert authority over the cleaning ladies and the general workers. SMH>
Lucia and TK should have been prepared for sabotage at the hands of the other team as soon as she drew that seafood entry. There was no reason why they couldn't have come up with a solution, so Lucia didn't have to taste the seafood kit herself. Like having an assistant taste the seafood kit while Lucia acknowledged that she was allergic to seafood, and presenting another meal kit not based on seafood for her to taste for others allergic to seafood like her instead. After all, having only one meal kit to sell is incredibly dumb business-wise.

Yes, acknowledging what she did wrong and being remorseful is her path to owning it. Minors are treated very differently in SK than they are in other countries when it comes to crimes they commit. However, if they are a member of a wealthy family or a celebrity and or well known they can pay a price as an adult if bullying from their time as a minor comes out. She will have to endure the shame that comes if that happens.

This woman cannot maintain her composure. She fails every single time. I wrote before I have never seen a FL once they are in revenge mode act the way she does. It really pisses me off when she uses her inner voice to indicate how tough she is going to be and the very next scene she is either completely falling apart or falling for some obvious scheme. We got 40 more episodes of her BS.
