I agree. I don't like that she told that particular lie. It may help Jeong Won but I wish she had told her that she was out of the country and wouldn't be back instead. Anyway the stepmom does not know the full story and I don't thing bio mom even knows how fully she was manipulated back then.

I don't prefer either way. I'm eager to discover the truth, though. I also think Manager Gong might be GC's bio mother. It's just so strange how attached she is to her. Also, I am absolutely terrible at predicting which way things will go in these dramas.

There are too many consequences. Manager Gong is a snake, and during the flashback, while GC was passed out after giving birth to the baby, it did not have its eyes open, nor was it crying. I don't think we got the entire story with that scene.

To me, Manager Gong cares a little too much. Her collapsing and comment about not having dedicated her life to this family for this to happen seemed like there is more to her affection for GC than we know so far.

Not having to deal with 25-30 episodes of a clueless FL attempting to hang on to a husband, life, or family of in-laws abusing and rejecting her does make this so much more than the usual.

Only in a K-drama would she not try call Se Ri, not call security to go with a first aid kit, not wonder why in the world she would be in a 3rd floor supply room, why a text would come in with no phone number attached to it in the first place.

I need to just calm down. I just get so aggravated when they send the FL off to an out-of-the-way warehouse or supply room, without telling anyone where she is going, where her cell phone dies or is left at work or home for some obvious fake reason. It is so lazy and predictable. I am hoping against hope that we don't have a stupid coma or amnesia plotline coming up.

I don't know why the writers decided to made both of the FL's look incredibly dumb here. I prefer when they write battle of wits scenarios instead of dumb crap like that.

They include these type of dumb scenes in way too many dramas.

It's going to be fun to see if he stays even keel like he is now or turns to his dark side and gets possessive of the FL.

So far, the way the FL is written in this drama is so refreshing. She can think on her feet, she can think ahead, and she doesn't need anyone to come and save her or get her out of situations because she can do that all by herself.

Too bad we got 37 more episodes of it until the one where she looks brilliant.
