I am shocked at how bad the AI really is. Korean is not some rarely used language and it's all over Youtube but the AI cannot get even 10 percent of the translation correct.
I don't know Korean myself, but I can clearly tell the characters are not saying some of the crazy things AI translator is showing them as saying.
I do not know what this drama is supposed to be about other than misery. Everyone seems to be very unhappy. There is no comedy and no romance. There is not even anyone in any of the families who is potentially likable.
If K-drama writers never insert a character like the 2nd ML into a drama again, I would be happy. They are almost always depicted as cowards emotionally, like this one, or relationship saboteurs. I despise these types of characters as much as I hate the love triangle ones, who often engage in the same type of behavior.
I havent watched that episode but it is expected, after she admitted what she did. Perhaps much later, he can…
"I know we are going over long past events. But, this is kind of a fun back and forth, so I hope you don't mind." But this is the way I saw things.
I believe Jae In could have hired professional managers to run the company, which would report to her as Chairwoman and the board of directors.
When Jae In was still under the impression she was in a loving, trusting relationship with Gi Chan, she wanted to help him as much as possible, so she went along with his request to sign over authority for her shares to him. When Jae In finally woke up and realized the company was going to be taken from her family by her cheating husband, she needed her mom's shares, her aunt's shares, Seung Woo's, or at least for them all to vote for her. She also needed to buy up as many shares as she could.
Mi Ran, I do not believe, was frazzled at all. She was calculating. She duped Jae In's mom and Jae In and made a deal with Ser Ri and Gi Chan to make him Chairman under her conditions.
Jae In was still trusting her at the time and allowed Mi Ran to pick up the mom's authority over her own shares for Jae In to use. Mi Ran then backstabbed Jae In, and she deceived her son so that he went along with her plans.
Also, Jae In's mom was trying her best at the time to turn Jae In against Seung Woo, but neither Jae In's mom nor Mi Ran ever took the time to truly understand the close relationship between Jae In and Seung Woo. Jae In's mom's terrible treatment of Seung Woo made him easy for Mi Ran to manipulate because he thought Jae In felt the same way about him that her mom did, which was never true, and he later understood.

JI was not actually trying to lead the company. That was never her motivation. She was trying to prevent it from being stolen from her family. So, both Mi Ran and Seung Woo were both falling for a con.
Neither knew that at the time but Gi Chan had no intention of honoring whatever agreement Mi Ran thought she had made with him for Seung Woo or her to take over the company.
I was pleasantly surprised that they actually broke up. That was really mature of Seung Woo. I hope they stay…
Na Ra is a no for Seung Woo in my book. She is not only immature she is well aware of and tolerates the evil things her family does. She has shown no signs of it ever bothering her.
people who predict something happens on the wedding day, you guys are right! lol
She did him dirty. But on the other hand, I feel like the way he went about this, treated his own family and friends, he deserved it. I can't even feel sorry for him.
And... the Seungwoo/Yookyung ship has capsized. At least they both were mature about their role in everything,…
It is possible, Jae In's mom could have named her baby before she was born. Sometimes they give their baby nicknames before they are born and their actual names after birth.

Did you notice her face change after she screamed and before she started with her BS excuses? It was like her brain switched gears into full lie mode.
