Not sure if they're gonna keep it like this in the show, but in the novel before teerak was born his dad had a best friend who was gay and was in a relationship that he was really committed to. The man who he was in a relationship with ended up having an affair and left him for a woman. After seeing that his ex was going to get married to that same woman who he had an affair with he got really depressed and took his life a little after teerak was born. Teeraks dad is scared that'll be the outcome for him too. Which imo still doesn't justify the way he reacted💀

They could've easily wrote they don't find one of the ml attractive but they said they're ugly af....that's just plain rude😭
