On Duoban, it is said that Tecent has locked the drama for non-Vip members after BCE's heat index exceeded 30 000. That means non-Vip users can only watch eps 1 - 6 (it was released 1 eps/day for non-Vip users). Many complains about Tencent's capitalism, squeezing money as much as possible from their clients and viewers and ignoring the chance of further popularity for the drama (Since it might impact the total view).
Xu kai is tall as heck!!!!I have been noticing his height. Thought he would be around 180cm. But he is 187cm🫠🤯…
in some sources, they claimed him to be 188 cm. He used to be model, thus he must be tall. The actor who played He Dong is also tall. This is the first time I saw XK's character's assistant/subordinate is as tall (or maybe a bit taller) as him
Nah they could not be called enemies. There was a rebellion, neither are from rebel factions but are from different…
If English is not your first language, it is not easy to follow the storyline and subtitles (pace of the first eps was very quick which also attributes to that). From my own experience, as non native english speaker, I also got trouble to follow the storyline of eps 1. Fortunately, I found some "non-official" channel to watch the drama in my native language and it is way better, not only understanding of the drama content but also the humor in their words
in Sword and Fairy, XK’s character’s heat index was always lower than FL’s
Thank you for your correction. Just re-visited the folder of SF's broadcast tables/chart and saw that the index in datawin has different trend that V-chart. in V-chart Yue Qi always had higher score than YJZ/BLH but in Datawin, the character contributions interchanged and indeed only YJZ was counted as main lead
she already had in her mind who will get who, she gave house and garden property to ML and another house and Xiang'Li…
MCH only inherited the hotel. No house. The house that her family moved in in eps 18 preview is for temporary stay (I think). Actually that house she left for YZM
"Freedom? You're 29 now and asking me for freedom? why didn't you ask for it when were you nine? You grew up on…
Traditional Asian parents in general don't understand that concept. In reverse they always think that they do the favor to bring the children to life, nurture them and grow them up. Children will carry that debt life time. That is the concept of fifial piety
I just don't get it.. what exactly is the connection between Xing'anli and the company where ML is working...…
Xingánli is a old, charming hotel which locates in the center of ShangHai. ML's hotel chain wants to open new branch in Shanghai and they want to accquire Xing'anli. If ML owns that hotel, he can be promoted and has more power in negociation for better role in the headquarter
FL's mum can not be serious! "You grew up on my milk", "I paid for your education" that is the role of a parent.…
This kind of thinking is very typical to most of asian parents. One time I saw a clip from a chinese guy who teaches English on facebook. He said the English speakers or in general Western people don't have the concept of filial piety. The concept of filial piety has been rooted from Confucianism. Parents always think that they own their children because thank to them the children were born, and brought up etc. This is quite opposite to western concept of parenting. I had talked with some western parents and they said it was them to make the decision to have kids and their kids did not choose to be born. Thus, as parents, they have responsibility to bring up and protect the children (in general, at least until the kid finish stuyding).
I may change my mind after watching the full conversation. But now Yao Zhiming, F*ck you again
she studied tourism. she has worked o. sales and housing management but she had zero experience on run ing a hotel restaurant, business management. it will be unrealistic if she can solve everything
I can somehow understand grandma's will and her wisdom. She gave what her grandchildren's lack. ML is alone and…
Yes, grandma left the villa for YZM. Did MCH's family already move in that villa in eps 18 (in the previewer)? Will he calm down and move in the villa later or MCH's family moved out after the will was annouced?
I like granny, but she's too biased towards MCH..tbh, MCH has no experience in managing hotel so giving full inheritance…
I can somehow understand grandma's will and her wisdom. She gave what her grandchildren's lack. ML is alone and he yearns for a home, family thus she gave him a house to anchor his mind, giving him a feeling that a home is waiting for him and there is a place he can consider as his home. FL has the hotel to develop her career path. However, with FL's skill and experience she can't run the business alone, especially the hotel had financial problem. She could predict that FL would ask the collaboration from ML. However, I think it would be wiser if she gave ML some share of the hotel (e.g, 10%) thus he would have responsibility of the business and the collaboration would have come easily
Best choice ever reached 30000 heat index
