I am 99,99% sure the cop did not die. It is an unwritten rule in kdrama that if they don't show the dead corpse, the character is not dead. Like they didn't show the grandpa getting shot in that marble ep and he showed up later as the mastermind of the game.

Because RM is an idol rapper. And he is already known worldwide, why would he need to go to SMTM to prove to Korean audience that he is a good rapper too? SMTM usually doesn't do good to idol rappers, they edit it so that their skills are so bad and they usually get dropped in first episodes. Few exceptions have been Mino, B.I and Bobby for example

Watch it and judge it for yourself. I had no expectations but it kept me interested throughout the whole drama. Just finished watching it and I don't think it was a waste of time.

I don't know whether this was good or not, but it kept me interested throughout the whole drama. It is not the best I've seen but I enjoyed watching it. Even after finishing it, I still don't know what was going on throughout the drama as it was a bit confusing to watch if you don't pay attention to every detail. Ending was a bit odd, could've used a different ending if I was the writer

Didn't expect this to happen, and I am not sure if there is a need for more seasons. However, seeing it is about the past, I'm up for it. Had it been a sequel about the future, then absolutely no need for that. But if it is history, then I will watch it as I enjoyed the history part of the first season anyways more than the present part.
