I have not watched the original one so I can't say anything about that aspect. As a K-drama, this was fun to watch and an excellent way to kill time after school to empty my brain before going to sleep. The plot wasn't that special and the ending was not to my liking but all in all it was a good watch. Not the best, but good enough to give it a rating of 7,5
Such a beautiful drama, felt like a fresh breeze of wind in the dramaland in the middle of all romcoms and thrillers. I love my romcoms and thrillers but sometimes I want to refresh my mind with something like this. This had the perfect mix of comedy and real-life issues without being draggy at any point. And the cast was on point too.
Is it just me who thinks that there is possible incest between the main female leads' family characters?
Because the Geumhwa company was founded by Seon Ju Cheol who in the flash in the history part was portrayed by Lee Ji Hoon aka the soldier. Then at some point, they showed the prophet of the soldier portrayed by Kim Hee Jung and her twins who are the grandmother of the FL and the grandmother's sister (character Eun Ok Jin).
Am I getting too far-fetched with my brain saying to me that the father of FL (Seon Sam Joong) and the mother of FL (Mi Soo) are both related? Seon Sam Joong being the son of Seon Ju Cheol and MI Soo would then be the grandchild of Seon Ju Cheol which would make FL both grandchild and great-grandchild of Seon Ju Cheol?
The most boring drama of the year so far. I enjoyed the first season but rated it 7,5 and that is the reason why I can't rate this 2nd season higher than 6,5. I yawned so much while watching this, and can't even call it watching as I just scrolled my phone while listening. I speak Korean so also the subs were done really badly and at some points made absolutely no sense. I think this is a 2nd season that should have been never made. I had no expectations for this 2nd season and yet still it failed to meet my nonexistent expectations.
He is a very handsome man. So where has he been? Army? Sick? ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Recently he has been acting in a musical called Elizabeth. It is still running in Korea. Besides that he has been on variety shows and earlier this year was touring Japan if I remember correctly from his instastories.
This was really good. Kang Ha Nuel outdid himself and this really deserves more than 8.0 rating. But I only have…
K-Drama logic: If no corpse is shown on the screen, the character is 99,99% alive. Just like Sun oh, in that scene where he was put unconscious to the fire place thingy, he woke up gasping air. He was not seen after this, so based on my experience with kdramas, he is still alive. He was probably the masked guy at the end.
why did berlin end up showing his face and identity to the public? was it to gain their trust? i honestly thought…
I think it was partly because of that, but partly because he might die soon. After all he said he has an illness and was seen injecting some drugs into his arm in the last ep.

Only good thing about this was the comedy
