Whatever he touches becomes gold because how much hard work, his own ideas he put into his own characters too. Also he has name that kinda goes like, actor who makes a drama script gets approved. When a team gets another actor & do not get approval from investors, then they cast him.. some directors openly talked about it too.

The original novel is more like bromance not bl. They main characters deeply care for e/o but it never about romance there. There's no female love interest for any character in the novel. FL was added only in the drama.
I have just come across this and now reading people's comments that the ending is rubbish is making me wonder…
In my personal opinion, it's not rubbish. But yes very very unexpected that's you won't be able to stop thinking about it for the next few days. & You'd definitely crave a S2 because of that ending.. It's kind of an open ending. Mid drama it's gets a bit hazy but if you push through it's really good. It's one of my favorite dramas.
I really really loved this drama. Even though I started it solely because of Neo, I seriously fell in love with the story. I loved how it had everything balanced. What a teenager feels at this age, like studies, financial issues, puppy love, friendship & family issues. It blended everything well not overpowering one factor above another. I too am a bit upset about the open ending but that doesn't take away all the great things I felt while watching it. Plus I don't even mind the ending, it's an open ending, not sad. It's just life happening. Also, ML & FL are still in touch, they write letters. They're going through a phase of life, I'm sure one day when they manage everything they can be together again. Recommended 10/10 from me if the open ending isn't an issue for you.
