FL and SML were never together tho. They just were aware that they had mutual feelings and decided to leave it for later and well after this mess that happened it is kinda obvious they would not be able to be together. I agree that they at least could show us an aftermath scene with them.
FL did not end up with ML either. That last scene was just shown to let us know she is not with SML and that she might be starting to develop feelings towards ML instead - but they are not together yet. ML was just teasing her with the talk about marriage. He teased her like that several times before with talking about being together lol.

I agree that first season was better and it has its own charm. But S2 is not as bad as people make it out to be. Story was not that bad, it was just missing something. New character, honestly if we were to cut him out entirely we would not lose anything. Lack of any character development throught the series. It can be also said about other counters (other than So Mun thats it) - I mean they tried to give them some development but just for them to end up as sidekicks in second half. Hana love trope did not make any sense after what they served in season 1. What I liked was that they actually gave some development to the Chairman who rather felt lackluster as a character in first season. If they ever make season 3 I wish they give other counters some development also and not only focus on So Mun. Mo tak was especially put on the side in this season.

Rumours about december release date (+ season 3 following soon after in 1Q 2024) have been floating for some time now but from what I know it is not confirmed and I could not find any beliveable sources other than some random screens. But seeing netflix schedule for this year this would make perfect sense + Go Min Si wrote on her insta that it is coming at the end of this year.

First season should have had 16 episodes. There is just too much contrast between first 3-4 eps and those from last weekend. It feels like a different series . The only reason I can see why the did ieave those 3-4 episodes for 2nd season is to just create hype and bait viewers into watching the second season. The storyline is also kinda getting nowhere and there are only 6 episodes left so yeah.

Episode 11 felt rushed while Episode 12 felt like they run out of material ... so they went with this being pardoned thing which seems like some bs ngl. Why even put him in jail in the first place when you did not have any intention to legally punish him? I know it was used as a plot device but there were better option to do that (he could for example just disapear and work from the shadows etc.)
HOWEVER. the ending itself is not the most satisfying one but I am totally fine that for once the ending does not follow the usual bad guy being punished trope. He still lost A LOT. But despite that, the problem here is a lack of the clousure for some of the main characters. Still enjoyed this one even though it definetly lacked something in last two episodes. Characters and acting were also nice. If I havent checked this, I would never suppose that Jin Yeon Ah was portrayed by idol actress. It certainly looked like they were setting things up for next season - I could totally see this but probably will not happen since the ratings were well .. not the best.

It was to be expected. They are both idols. At least we got something.

There is a typo I belive - this week episodes 3 and 4 were released not 5 and 6.

The first title was translated literally from Korean title, so it is not official. Then official English title is added, Korean one usually stays the same (like in this case). For some reason nowadays for English official titles they often do not translate them from Korean one, but come up with totally different one (more or less related to the Korean one), this applies to most of the movies

Does the romance seems a little bit forced only to me? I mean i get it was supposed to be a romance from the get go but the execution was rather poor. There is just nothing much to justify it. After focusing on the mystery aspect for 11 episodes we got a sudden (sort of? lets be honest that whole scene was weird and awkward) confession out of nowhere. I know there were some scenes and moments but there was nothing beyond it, no development. Also they give more of a father-daughter vibe rather than a couple vibe which does not help. Tbh I even forgot that it actually is supposed to be a romance and thought that they will leave things regarading this matter as they were up until ep 12 but I guess no.

The problem of this show is that the first half is just TOO GOOD. Compared to the first half, second half just feels flat - especially last two episodes. I think it is more about directing in the latter half rather than the writing itself, but yes there were some holes in writing as well. I feel like people hate this one just because they did not like ending (but I agree it kinda felt flat). IMO it is still worth the watch just for how good the first half is.

It feels like they realized there is not much time left too late and packed everything they could into last ep, it feels sooo rushed and make the whole ending less satisfying. Even though the final outcome is fine, the portrayal was just not it. Also, yet another series where police/detectives did absolutely nothing and had almost 0 impact on the story, so why even bother with it form the start? Especially if you are going to ditch it in the last ep just like that.

Yeah it is the same thing or more like combination of both of those. The rule said that if him or the person he switched with, meets their (original) parent/s on their birthday they will go back to their original life. And this is basically what happened because Seungcheon met his parents.

It was probation. She did not serve the sentence because she did not have to.

People are disappointed with the ending, but for me the story development that led to it was even more disappointing. So many sub plots that were heavily emphasized and were not resolved at all

- Chairman son, like why did they even bring that topic lol
- Profesor paper, it was one of the more important tropes in the series from the start and then it just got sidelined and they only mentioned it was found? Also do you remember about Big Mouth daughter? Seems like writers do not.
- Big Mouth reveal and him as a character and this is where it went downhill, writers really simply just forgot about him and he was just underwhelming as a character overall
- Hye jin death, they just left it, hell even Miho mentions her in last ep but nothing comes out of it
- Chairman death, I mean ... he just died; I know that it was in order to make Doha the last villain. But in last ep there was a mention of autopsy and we never know what happened with it and IMO it would be a way better ending to expose Doha
- The worst one for me - the progressing of Miho illness. Like holy ... what happened? Inmates were working there for months and they were fine and she suddenly was in last stage? It happened unnaturally fast. Yes, she was directly exposed but even the guy who she saved lived for some time while being in prison and he worked there for I wonder how long. Her death was also anticlimactic.
- Doha did too many shit to just let him get away with all of that, and the way he always got out at some point became predictable and boring, I mean he died but it made people frustrated. The way he died was fitting even tho I thought that Changho would shoot him in that last scene.
- Last ep definitely felt rushed compared to very slow ep 15

Ep 15 felt draggy like they were just trying to fill the remaining time with something because there is not much left to resolve but that is not the case. But I really doubt there will be a second season, there are things to be resolved but not that much to create another season out of it. Especially that this show kinda lost its magic after the reveal. Waiting for the finale anyway!
