I like Kim Young-Dae here WAY MORE than I did in Penthouse, which was the first drama I saw him in. I think there…
Oh yeah I agree. I also liked him here more than in Penthouse. I think the other series you might be thinking of is Perfect Family (at least I had this role of his in mind while writing this comment lol). Definitely would like to see him as a villain in the future.
The "last" part just wasn't it ... the buildup took so long and they did not even resolve it or give explanations. Introduction of Moon Do-hyuk felt just like a plot device just so they can give some ending to the whole series, especially with how they resolved and rushed the whole plot point with him. Kim You Jung carried this series hard. For Kim Young Dae ... I don't know maybe it's the messy writing of his character here (Jun Seo) but I can't help and think of his past roles and how similar they were, both acting wise and character too.
It seems like they spent so much on the cast that they did not have enough budget for the drama itself lol I can't take the fighting scenes seriously and the costumes and wigs in flashbacks are even worse. Almost everything up to episode 6 felt like a (bad) prelude that honestly should take 2-3 episodes at max and after this they gonna resolve everything in 2 episodes ? I wouldn't be surprised if nothing is resolved at all and this is indeed just a prelude (and season 2 will never happen after the bad reception)
This certainly wins the worst format of the year. There must be some reason right? I really want to watch it but, 60 episodes, with 2 MINUTES EACH. Like just make it 10 minutes with less episode. especially if you are going to drop everything at once lol. Someone really thought that this is a great marketing idea lol. I watched first ep and ... this is TVING orginal and they even got Cha Hakyeon for this but quality is worse than some youtube BLs from small companies with unknown actors. Disappointing.
#1 Are all those adopted kids made from her eggs?#2 So all of them are related to one mother but not father, yes?#3…
3) yeah probably is 5) Seok-su is not a pastor son's boyfriend (that was Eungyeol) tho Seok-su is the other boy in the group, who was shot by Junghyeon at the end of episode 6, he was the son of the congressmen or whatever kind of politician he was (who also got shot by Junghyeon lol)
#1 Are all those adopted kids made from her eggs?#2 So all of them are related to one mother but not father, yes?#3…
1) That is an implication, but young Ah yeon could only be referring to the ones being created currently, or maybe no. Who knows. 2) If that is the case then yes 3) It was shown that she killed her husband when older Ah yeon was still with her 4/5) No, it was imagination and it was Seok-su who died in episode 6/7
Finale was definitely messy, but it fit the whole "chasing" each other without any planning done as they were doing the whole series, I guess. But what even was the point of the whole thing in the final episode from Kim Sehe point of view? Like what was she trying to achieve by doing that ? I also wish they showed more of an aftermath, after putting so much focus in final episodes on those parents/other kids and the connections Kim Sehe had tbh. Overall enjoyed this one even though writing was a bit messy and finale could definitely be better. Gonna read webtoon now lol
I would be fine with no big "climax" (especially with how ep 11 went) and them just taking different paths in the last episode, because that was the main point of the story, but it seems (after seeing the preview for last epsiode) like they are going to resolve the whole sub plot of the merger and advisor (?) in the last episodeand make it big one, which is really a choice ... Like there were some hints and the character of the advisor was kinda strange, but nothing too big, she was just there and nothing happened (just throwing in some cases here and there) till last episode. Hope it won't be rushed but there is a lot to unpack in just one episode, but let's see. On a side note, surprising that there were literally no dedicated episode for male lead character, other than the whole ex-girlfriend case (which honestly I forgot it happened until now), nothing that would flesh out his character and explain his attitude towards the work he is doing, making him in the end pretty empty character tbh.
As someone who has not read the original, this really just feels like they tried to make it an ordinary school romance series with gay plot as an addition, which is already bad but what is worse is that they do not have enough episodes to feature two couples at once (while giving them equal time screen) and it starts to show in episode 4. Like we are almost half through and there is almost nothing about the MAIN couple. It feels super slow, they got sidetracked ep 3 and 4. I get that they wanted to add a second straight) couple (actually I do not but whatever) but it should be as an addition, the focus should stay on Heesu. The only thing making us think he is the main character in this show is that we are shown everything from his perspective. Nothing more. Hope it improves in second half.
This is for sure one of the worst written FL ever. I do not buy her redemption story arc, what was even her deal to start with? The only good thing that was portrayed pretty well is the dark side of entertaiment but that is it. It touched many very sensitive topics but in the end did not try to resolve them in any way. At the end everything just suddenly clicked for every character in the show and that's it. The mental struggle of ML is potrayed very unrealistically, like dude was self-harming , they threw him into this survival show while KNOWNING THAT, he got traumatized and could not sing anymore and what they did with it? FL just said some some shit and the whole thing was resolved, wow would be nice if it worked like that, but it doesn't.
they have given fri and sat over there, only till ep 9 we can see in the website what about ep 10 which was aired…
The thing is ... episode 10 was NOT aired this week. Because of Chuseok, some reality show was aired instead. Official sources say it will air next week on Saturday instead.
This would be so much better without the (main?) plot of bad memories being erased. This would work as your typical comedy, healing drama, but no, they had to make it weird. And the whole thing is just absurd, how they can even run such experiments casually in a hospital LMAO
The amount of stupidity displayed by almost every character in this show is beyond imagination. Suddenly, they left FL alone, it is not like police were staking out before her house 24/7 not that long time ago ... and it took them so long to get the idea she could be in danger after what happened to Hyeonu. Suyeon and Seonhui fighting with each other for the most annoying characters ever I guess. Even the parents got infected with stupidity by going first to hospital for god knows what purpose (I know this is a plot device but still). And do not get me started about the detective, because what even was that, he literally asked to be stabbed and seems like he died ... Frustrating episode, they needed to create some plot devices to move the story forward, but honestly the actions of characters do not make ANY sense. It was still somewhat entertaining tho, waiting for a plot twist.
Episodes 7 and 8 are set to be released in like 5 days, but popular (piracy) sites with dramas have them already up without subtitles (I checked - those are actual episode 7 and 8). Upon checking, it seems like those were already released on Genie TV VOD (Korean streaming site) which is weird, because it was supposed to be released next week.
It changed genres as if it was 20 episodes drama at least. It started out as a criminal series (very similar to The Killing Vote that is why It made me to believe that this is what we are getting) then switched to Political drama (ep 3-4), then to comedy (5-6) - I cannot take this part seriously like lol ... and then we back to criminal for the last episodes. While concept was interesting with the whole one story but from different points of view each 1-2 episodes it kinda took too long, at some point I knew the guy won't die no matter what till last episode. Also, some characters were just not relatable at all (ML detective guy, for example). Still entertaining, but I cannot take it seriously because of eps 5-6. Also, another drama where police is portrayed as a bunch of idiots LOL If season 2 never happens, I would not complain in this case. Usually I hate open endings but for this one it was perfect for some reason.
The first half was actually really good (first 4-5), but then the pacing slowed so much. T Last 3 episodes felt dragged with characters just staying still or walking. They really took their time with getting to the stadium. It would be fine if a big finale fight would happen but it did not ? Hyunsu almost did nothing in the climax. But I guess they focused more on psychological/emotional side than action (and at least this time we got action that lead up to climax). Just wished the climax was a bit better and the ending was a bit more fleshed aout. I also wish Mrs Cha had stayed alive, as well as Yi Kyung but oh well ... Also what the hell was this Priest subplot, it was built up from the beginning of season 2 and rly that was it? Lol .. But overall this was still a lot better than S2.
It is good but one episode per week killed this series for me and now they even delayed ep 8 for 2 WEEKS which is insane. Wait till it finishes airing which is like in 6 week lol.
Man what the hell have I just watched ? If you think Baerona had it rough, after watching those 90 minutes of Bang Da Mi being abused by literally everybody but her adoptive parents, you will change your mind.
2) If that is the case then yes
3) It was shown that she killed her husband when older Ah yeon was still with her
4/5) No, it was imagination and it was Seok-su who died in episode 6/7
