I'm really enjoying this! It is so different to everything else I have watched lately but I do feel frustrated after every episode since there are so many questions I need answered. Hopefully, we will start seeing answers soon!
Watching this drama I had my first case of second lead syndrome! I found it way too hard to like Park Hae Jin's character. This made the story a little blah for me.
This was my first ever kdrama! I loved it at the time and watched it a few times, however, these days I just can't seem to bring myself to watch it. It's just really cringey and altogether not great! Always grateful to it though for opening my eyes to the world of kdramas!
I'm not big on the crossdressing storylines usually as I think it's been overdone a little bit but I really loved this drama.
Aesthetically it is one of the most beautiful dramas I have ever watched. There are some incredibly beautiful shots / scenes and this gives the drama a very refreshing feel to it.
I don't think it is for everyone but would recommend giving it a go. Also, Park Bo Gum is very sweet in this drama.
Watched this as it aired. I liked the first few episodes but this drama was a little slow for me and so I didn't end up finishing it. I might go back and watch it again someday though.
Love this drama! Ji Chang Wook looks amazing in it and and I really like the romance in this one. It had such a strong start and kind of lost a little of the momentum towards but it was still a really good drama for me.
I love this drama! I have re-watched it so many times! It does have it's flaws and the ending, although it made sense, was a little unsatisfying but, while it's probably not for everyone, I would definitely recommend giving it a go. The antagonists are really well developed and I love that you get the chance to see into their minds, more so than other crime related dramas. I also really like that all the characters are flawed and not perfect. It makes them a little more relatable in a way.
This was the first sageuk I watched and at the time I thought it was amazing. Looking back at it now though there are a lot of flaws but I definitely think if you are getting into historical dramas then you should definitely give it a go. Plus, the child actors are amazing in it! I will always be thankful to this drama for introducing me to sageuks!
Love this drama!! It took me by surprise. There were some moments which I thought dragged a little bit and thought the ending could have been done a little better but would definitely recommend watching! The relationships between all the characters are developed so well! I like how despite losing their families they are able to find that familial connection with each other. I also really love the cute flirty moments between Kim Min Joon and Jang Ha Ri.
That being said, aesthetically, this is one of my favourites. It is so well shot and has a lot of extremely beautiful looking scenes.
