That's funny, why are you so assertive? If you truly love this drama, then some disagreeing comments schould not bother you at all.

The autor here is just pointing out, comment section is here for all people to express their opinion. I find it funny you saying everyone is welcome and insulting a person peacefully expressing his thought in the same time.

Every comment section will always have both positive and negative comments, no need to insult people with another opinion - you say people disliking this drama should just shut up and leave, I say people liking this drama should not mind the negative comments and just continue to enjoy.

I am curios about other people opinions, therefore I stay here and read those comments, but I am also tired. There are many attacks here on people disliking this drama, yet I have seen none of them attacking those who liked this. Just a thought...

I am also bothered with this. Another thing that bothers me is the fact, the ML was introduced like a godly jerk - indifferent, destructive, merciless, powerful - yet why do I have an impression, he no longer is that scary and powerful? They totally ditched the original atmosphere and turned the drama into comedy.

I do not visit comment section that often, because when I do, I always just come across oh-my-god-i-love-this-so-much-kiss-kiss type of comments, so I rely more on reviews in this matter. I agree, this site has become extremely useful because of the big community here, really good job. But I started to visit comments to have fun and meet new people, so - nice to meet you by the way. :-D

Feel the same as you, just with the difference I know what is so wrong with this drama for me - its full of contradictions. Super clever doctor is clueless despite many strange things happening around her, god of dead, who was supposed to be scary and powerful, turns out to be a comic figure randomly loosing his powers, although he should be hearing voices and go on killing spree every night, he just killed few people at the beginning and suddenly has no urge to kill anymore, contract killer fails to kill just about anyone he's hired to kill, ... but for some reason I am not able to drop it. I just can't believe there will be nothing more to it.

It's great you are enjoying it. :-) For me, the comedy part is on of the reasons, why I feel disappointed in this drama. It felt so wrong, when this almighty death god, eiger to kill just about anyone, suddenly started acting like a teenage school boy. But in the last aired episodes he became more serious again, I am curious what happens next.

Oh, so that is how it is. I have never heard of an actor being dubbed by another unless the movie was dubbed into another language, so it confused me a lot, thanks for explaining. :-)

I do personally feel really frustrated with this drama. When I first saw the synopsis, I was looking forward to watch it and I loved the first episode. But then the FL started to be really naive and blind - after the ML harshly destroyed her whole existence and blocked her career once and for all, she suddenly starts liking him, just because he sang her mothers song? And ML, supposedly almighty god of death was suddenly made into a comic figure, going in a complete opposite with the very definition of his kind of being.

I won't drop it, I do want to know how the plot unfolds and will rate the drama only after that, but I do feel really frustrated.

Are only people loving this drama allowed to stay? :-)

I was thinking the same thing many times. About those people having only Kokdu on their watchlist - you suspecting they are fake accounts to stir up arguments? It could have been done by a single core lover of this drama. :D

I was considering getting in a friendly argument with some of those commenters to remind them, if they can express their liking for the drama, why do they consider those expressing their disappointment haters? Does it really mean, if I dislike a drama, I schould just drop it and not comment on it anymore? It denies all the principles of a website for drama evaluation With this kind of thinking, there would be the highest score for every single drama, what's the point of having a website like this then...

Agreed! My Uncanny Destiny goes to my watchlist. :-) For me it was The Romance of Tiger and Rose - when I saw the first episode, with those poorly made flying scenes and weird effects and costumes, I almost dropped the drama, totally horrified. But then it started to be so much fun, I couldn't stop watching it, it was just too hilarious. :D Later I realized, the plot idea is actually pretty cool and the drama is not only funny, but brings some present-day problems and taboos to light. Wouldn't expect that from a low-profile drama I almost dropped.

True, I was really feeling fed up lately! :D I was all panicky, that I would not enjoy watching asian dramas that much again. That's why I am glad there are still dramas I can enjoy this much.

Thanks for recommandations! The Starry Love is a drama I have discovered just today, and can't wait to try it. And I will watch those Thai dramas you recommanded - I was sure there must be good Thai dramas, but having no experience with them, I wasn't sure where to look, so thanks! :-)

I find it interesting, how all the dramas on the list deal with some king of death situation, but I have noticed at least 10 of them having only a presumed death (the character didn't really died), or the characters were reunited in afterlife/new life, so that there was actually a happy ending. Reading the list title, I was assuming all of those drama here will have a tragic ending, only after viewing those dramas have I realized, it's not necessarily true, I find it interesting. :-)

Must admit I have had a bit of a crission lately, not being able to bump into much drama I really liked. On contrary, too many dramas disappointed me gravely lately, starting of with a great idea, but ruining the whole drama with histerical characters or irrational plot twists later, having very poor chemistry, boring me to death. I have tried a new genre, discovering Thai lakorns, and maybe I was just being unlucky, but those I have seen scared me to death with the poor quality even more. I was even considering a break in watching asian dramas.

This drama might not be perfect, yet it stirred up my excitement in me again, so that I am looking forward to every new episode, enjoying every little detail, enjoying each character and twist and a really good pace.

Many people complain about the FL, I am watching her for the first time, so I don't have any biases on how she's normally acting and I don't see any problem with her. In comparison with the torture I have experienced lately with some other characters, she doesn't seem childish to me at all. My expectations might be really low right now, but even if so, I am very grateful to this drama. I can't see any better praise for a drama, than saying it was able to return a disappointed asian drama fan back to original rails. <3 :-)

I liked a statement of a journalist watching over politics - he said "politicians were chosen by the people to represent them, so we journalists watch their every move and expose their affairs, so that they can't abuse their power however they want". I loved that image of a journalist watching over powerful people so that they can't abuse power.

But actor/artist/musician - they were not voted to speak for others, they are not person in power, they are just talented people, who worked hard to be influential in entertainment industry - how is any of their personal life anybody's business? Their work is the only thing they can be judged on, digging up their personal life just because they are public figures should be illegal - if someone exposes a private matter of let's say an office worker, he can take legal action, why actors can't? Hate tabloids.

Hi, I am just curious, this is the second time I read the ML character has a voice actor - I was thinking at first, this information was written by some foreign person, who was referring to his homeland dubbing, but now I am suspicious. Is it normal for C-dramas they hire an actor and replace his voice with another? This is new for me, I haven't heard yet someone would take on a role in chinese movie, but wasn't allowed to talk.

Impatient, huh? Not even half the drama out yet, isn't it better to wait for the end before writing a review? I have written some review on a drama I haven't fully watched only in situation, the drama was already so bad, I was sure the rest of it won't make up for it. If the drama is worth it, it's a good thing to give it a chance to tell the whole story before evaluating it. At least that's what I am thinking. :-)

You can love an overall idea of a drama and love the characters and yet you can get bored, when a plot is dragged on for too long. It is true I have never skipped whole episode, but there were some dramas I loved very much and I have still skipped 80% of some episodes, because the plot in them diverted too much from the main storyline just to make the drama few episodes longer and it just wasn't watchable. It happens. :-)

Damn, you are so right on the point. I have bumped into this drama just yesterday, finding out, I have probably already watched at least 10 episodes in the past, but absolutely couldn’t remember what was it about. Therefore, I gave it a second chance and regretted immediately – constant misunderstandings, both main and second leads immature, annoying ML friend desperately clinging onto him despite his obvious disinterest… I have suddenly found out, I am just randomly clicking on three points of the playback in each episode, seeing the story hasn’t improved or moved anywhere. That's when I decided it’s time to drop it and forget all about it again. :D
