One of the best things about your editorial (and others like it, of course) are how they help to get us all thinking…
Yep! We were even exchanging ideas about censorship, good and bad writing of female characters. I learned new concepts like "Maniac Pixie Girl". Unfortunately there are users who don't know how to express themselves without using insulting language in the process.
I recommend The Double (2024) because you're missing out on the strongest FL we've been fed in the last years…
There are many things that the male lead of The Double would not have accomplished without Jiang Li's intelligence. Both shared resources with each other. Accepting help and that you are not always right is a strength that helps you grow.
Also, she is a good example of being emotionally strong by holding in the pain of memories when she had to be close to those who hurt her. There were moments when it seemed that she could not take it anymore, but she managed to resist by clapping back harder.
Although in the novel her character has a wider range of emotions, I'm still satisfied with what I saw in the adaptation :)
Yang mi sucks dilraba sucks. It clearly shows author has no clue. Strong Female do not depend on male lead for…
Being strong has nothing to do with getting help from a man or not because there are issues that women can't overcome in nature, whether in fiction or not. I think you just like plot armors nd Mary Sue's. You don't know what makes a character rich outside of being a superwoman/man.
Expecting women to be 100% perfect is sexist because at the slightest hint that they need help or or make a mistake, people like you come out to belittle them.
There are a wide range of strengths that are not based on only being strong.

You say the author is a hater of Zhao Li Ying for not including her characters in the list but you yourself don't consider yourself a hater or a troll after insulting actresses you don't like. You could have expressed your opinion as an evolved human being (that's what you are supposed to be) and not as a primitive and irrational being with a keyboard and internet access. Users who were responding to you reasonably also received a string of insults from you. What pathetic behavior.
I honestly love her as an actress and have loved her in most of her historical works
The funny thing about your comments is that you don't even understand yourself and you seem to be arguing with your multiple personalities. In your own comment is the answer you need.
There are people who focus on acting necessarily when it comes to enjoying a drama. There are people who value plot above all else. And there are people who only like to watch attractive actors and actresses as an emotional refuge. Dilraba is good-looking, and she has exotic looks, so those who are looking to see beauty will see her, whether you like her or not. Regardless of whether she is a good actress or not. It doesn't matter if you throw illogical tantrums in the comments and behave like a keyboard warrior, your comments are a non factor and not because you have no right to write it, but because you have no education. You don't know how to express yourself without insulting or trying to censor others with your spam comments.
