I think they all died for a noble cause protecting what they think is right and they will continued to be remembered by people forever as one same gang together that has sacrificed as heroes. So to me it is a good ending for them

But that kinda created alot of comedic moments for us throughout the show. And no prolonged secret or unnecessary misunderstanding

My own thought is that it could be a good ending for them. During the show they drop hint to say in their role chances of death is very high, what is important is dying for protecting the right cause/people and being remembered after death. In a way their death meaningless and people will remember them forever. So hope this thought can cheer you up abit

But come to think of it they did drop hint of it throughout the show and say what they do have high chances of dying in any missions and they do it for the people and a good king. Most important they get to be remembered after they died and not dying a nameless person. So in a way it is a happy ending for them as they died protecting what the thing is right and will be remembered by people.

Totally agreed. This show and every characters have given us such a mesmerizing performance. I will still give it 10 out of 10 despite the ending. When I rewatch the show I will still smile and laugh along again with all the characters and be mesmerized by the badass FL and a convincing ML.

I liked SOKP alot at first but somehow stopped following it halfway. A journey to love kept me captivating and wanting for more and no boring moments

Can try A journey to Love which is a wuxia with assassin and spy storyline. Great cinematography for the fight scenes

There are just too many drama from China and I am being very choosy most I can't even watch past EP 1. This one I stick throughout without skipping any part. Just show how captivating the show is

With the strict ruling on 40 episode count, quite challenging to cramp in more emotional scene as they need give room to alot of comedy and character development for all the side cast. This is the first show that really besides the 4 leads I like all the side characters expect for the dads

Hello Purple Ghost been a while. Thanks for keeping track of the half year mark. Nearing half year mark the 3 wishes sadly all never materialised : increase the TSL rating from 8.7, special episode with the rebirth and TSL shown in Netflix

Realistically would be hard as filming completed more than a year ago and the main filming crew have dispersed. The ML and FL would be on a different filming project now. So if the Director had just wanted the current ending and not filmed the extra back then. Hard to create the extra content now unless everything use CGI. Also think Youku initially did not really put much emphasis or budget to promote this show, but it got really popular through word of mouth when the show went live earlier this year

This is xianxia so there are some magic fighting scene but not the martial art style. Would say though both TTEOTM are xianxia but this is focus in good well rounded fun comedy and good lovely character developments and sisterly love. No misunderstanding or alot of angst

Kinda open ended happy ending. Many not felt satisfied with it but then it is still a super fun and lovely journey throughout the whole show...just prep yourself from epi 33 onwards some tissue

Probably can first rewatch some of your favorites scenes from 1 to 32 to rekindle the joy and curiosity what to happen next. At least you have prep your heart and expectation. For alot of us who watched as the episodes were rolled out daily....wow impact then was huge...anyway hope you can finish this marathon and provide your view at the end
