I am back here after a year and the reason for this is finally this show is on Netflix though late by a year.

Watched till episode 4 , the story and all the characters especially the FL been interesting so far and keep me wanting to know what happens next

Can't believed that after a year this forum is still active with new comments. Sadly our wishes of early TSL fans to have an extra post ending episode or to have TSL appear in Netflix yet to be granted

Happy New Year and welcome back. I was at a loss after finished watching A Journey to Love recently then stumbled upon the ost for TSL and started looking back at some YouTube short clips of this wonderful show. Bring back so much fond memories

I recently like you missing AJTL then stumbled upon a 2021 cdrama Couple of Mirrors which is quite unique with setup in old Shanghai and involved 2 FLs there are no ML. But one of the FL is a mysterious retired soldier,spy or killer. Both FLs have superb chemistry

Totally agreed. I dropped the other one after episode 2. This one keep me interested to watch on.

Just finished watching this show, when I watched the ceramic twin episode, I thought the story was going to develop into they kept the other twin hidden from the world due to some reason but was not expecting that the twin really died and the remaining twin develop personality disorder. But Do felt there seem to still unresolved mystery about the twin and the producer cut it out from telling

It a journey from starting feeling hopeless& distrust to gaining trust, friendship,love, loyalty & a purpose in life and ending with reality of sorrow, pain and meaning to sacrifice & be remembered. Must encourage you to complete the entire journey to appreciate the story n all the characters more

They stay true to each other. Their sibling love is greater than their own love interest. Abit messy and draggy in the middle but in the end happy endings for both FLs. They found their true love

Oh yah also the forget to add the day dreaming portion that always give us possible funny outcomes for any of her actions.

It is not a perfect show in term of the story line as some arc developed super fast without much buildup and draggy abit in the middle but what kept me going are:
1. Likeable and realistic FL and MLs. First time encounter this actress. Started looking up her other dramas.
2. The setup of the ML that initially might seem like a typical bad guy, but turn out to be an interesting and righteous character.
3. Great acting by the main cast.

Just finished watching it. A surprising gem that captivated me throughout. Most importantly it is a HE.

Yeah and different from other drama they stay realistic in their storyline and in war no one can ever guaranteed each others survival.

The whole crew really put in alot of effort and attention to details for this production. Just we only understood it at the end of the show. Also the Chinese title for this show. Yi Nian Guan Shan could be interpreted as everyone has their own personal desired but will be overcome by the greater good of whole country. Means despite their own selfish desired they will still choose to sacrifice for their country

Yes please do the show justice it would be really hard to come by such a complete and engaging wuxia show. The whole cast, crew, directors and script writer deserve a 9 if not a 10

To all NEW viewers don't wait anymore just GO WATCH AJTL. Won't regret the journey you will go through together with all the characters. I wish they will bring this show to Netflix next

Since this is our imaginary ending, like to add a twist YZ&RY looks like retired and open liquor shop but it is a disguise for the world new secret spy organisation that help to collect Intel from all kingdoms. the gang will often meet up for a drink but actually still does spy business. But the spy lead a better more respective life
