Wow Gao just get worse and worse. XLN actually took a turn in growth and change in ep 33 I think. Her character just got more substance. Also, why do you think LX apologize to her though. He tries to trap Gao but then he warns XLN about it. It really shows his character well. Determined but not cruel.

I doubt she would like stay around here if her and LX were not going anywhere though. But I also don't believe she doesn't like the painter at all. Like not love for sure, but I think she does find comfort in him because he's stable and easy. And some relationship can be like that. Obviously we don't know how far it could go but it's not the worst thing to be with someone like that. And most importantly, I think we always know LX is her source of courage. It may sound anti-feminist but he is the courage that she's short of, and she's the light he needs. I believe she can be courageous but it's powerful when she's with LX. I mean isn't that the reason why their love for each other is so beautiful.

I think your points are all valid and I agree with lots of them. I am just less critical of ZY at this point. I think because she is still unsure about the future in term of relationship with LX that's why she hasn't said anything to the painter and her family. I mean LX still rejects her. So in her mind, she is actually still deciding if she should stay or leave. And also, she just wholeheartedly want to help him get L&P that she doesn't want to spend the energy fighting with her parents right now. I believe after the most recent episode, where she has spoken out officially declaring she is not leaving anymore, then she will be clear with her family and the painter guy.

Did he admit though? Or is it her that would realize she can't never leave him. Even the painter guy finally realizes he has to gives up too. I know in the novel, he wouldn't let her arm go when he needs to go in for test or surgery but don't remember he ever says it out loud at that time.

We need a clip of ZY catches LX sleeping too lol. So cute. And what really refreshing is they don't have the same reaction like other leads in other dramas. LX just opens his eyes and either looks at her or asks what does she want and she just either looks at him smiling or actually responds. Not the typical startle jump up and down that is so boring. Just really show how comfortable they are with each other.
