I'm afraid to start this drama because it looks like it can be very boring
The start is pretty slow and can be bored if marathoning on Netflix, but this is one of those series you should watch when you either really enjoy Slice of Life stories or when you're stressed/bored and just want something light with interesting characters and some laughable moments (priest lulz) and, ofcourse, if you're into medical stuff. I thought it would be much more music-centered, but it's totally character/life-centered.
If you think this is "slow", then never try watching Day & Night! lol
Too bad Netflix is gonna remove it from the catalog because the network didn't release the second season as planned. I really want to see the aftermath... =\
As a big fan of Sleepless Society, I ask: what the hell happened to the direction and scriptwriting in this one?! I can't believe what they did to what should be called the fourth instance of such a great series!
Pretty bad acting of some mixed with great acting from a few underrated characters, too many characters that you simply can't like at all even after knowing their background, extremely confusing edition and writing. The series had potential, but it was destroyed by nonsense. And wtf is wrong with that teacher?! Really...
Anyway, if you still want to watch it, check it out on Netflix and Viki.
But I recommend doing yourself a favor and watch Sugarless and K.O. instead!
The movie was okay. Like DesolatePsyche pointed out, it's more of a detective mystery movie (it feels quite similar…
And if you know the lore behind each of the characters, you'll also agree that Sadako is just an angry bitch trying to reach her goals (poor Dr.Takayama!), while Kayako is the real creepy thing you don't want lurking around even if you're in hell!
The movie was okay. Like DesolatePsyche pointed out, it's more of a detective mystery movie (it feels quite similar to Ring's american versions in that point tbh).
But I tell you this: in regards of the characters, let's be honest, Sadako is not really that scary at all, but Kayako... oh, my.. Kayako is one of the creepiest villains of all times! Those sounds she makes gives the chills to the most prepared & darkest horror-lover souls out there! >_<
The best zombie movie from last decade or two. This movie is amazing and that intro scene is just fantastic! Run to Netflix and watch it coz it's so worth your time and more than once!
It's very unfortunate that there were still a few things that made most of us totally revolted. (read my spoiler replies at Vi-d's comments below)
how we didn't know about the little girl's mother and as well whether they get to meet each other or not. the…
The school couple dying was stupid and unnecessary IMHO. Sincerely, I think the director did that only to bring some tears for the romance-lover watchers (if it wasn't sad enough that all of their friends had died in horrible ways through the movie!). Atleast one of them could have reached the end.
But the most revolting thing was that husband dying. He deserved to live the most of all of the characters, specially since he was simply the fittest kind to survive in any apocalyptic situation we can think about. Come on! Where's the "survival of the fittest" logic in that?!
It seems Koreans also believe that the jerkier you are, the longer you survive (just read manhwa HIVE for a better example of this!).
ends like that? =/some things were very anticlimactic... =/ specially about...
The train's sacrifice (made for such a stupid reason) and that ending were really something to get mad about, but it's the only bad thing in this movie. That stupid girl had to die... geez, this movie can certainly be revolting at parts!
I thought it would be much more music-centered, but it's totally character/life-centered.
The series was good and then it felt as if they'd switched screenwriters...
No need to scream though!! lol

It's worth watching for the super fun performances of the great Chris Wu and Kuang Tian!

And a good sequel start point!
...also had no idea Golden Bomber's guitarist was an actor now! lol
