Ok, fine, FINE! I admit, I kinda get it now... I started this drama about a month ago, and I really struggled with it. I didnt get the hype, the story was dragging, the acting of majority of the cast - lets be honest -was quite bad, and don't even get me started on the special effects 🙄 I actually was debating whether to dnf it, but in the end I just couldn't.
It took me a loooong time to really apreciate the drama. I would be lying if I said that suddenly I fell in love with it. No. I didnt, I actually skipped a lot, just to get to the parts more interesting for me. And I dont regret anything. My point is I get the hype, but not about the story, but about Wei Wuxian nad Lan Zhan. Their dynamic and chemistry. I love this two together. Even with censorchip , with zero skinship and zero declarations of love... You must be blind not to see how much this two care for and love each other. Its almost poetic, and even more special because true love does not need words. It's all in their gazes, all the yearning. Yeah. I get it.
Overall I'm glad I didnt gave up on the drama. I wouldnt call it a masterpiece Its far from it, but the fact that I'm listening to the OST on the loop now and watch fanmade videos on YT about our main couple, speaks for itself 🤡
I guess now I need to watch donghua and read the books 👀
The first 15 eps or so set up the stage for the following tragedy (and plants most of the seeds for the second…
well... im on ep18 and what can I say... usually I would binge the whole thing a long time ago, but I really struggle with this one :/ The scenery and music is absolutely beautiful... but thats it. The story is draging for me, and even though I like Wei Wuxian as our lead I dont care about the rest... and dont even get me started on the guy playing Jiang Cheng 🙃 This man cannot act at all 😑 To sum up, I would probably continue but with no presure or expectations, Im curious about Lan Zhans character so ... yeah. Tell me what you think! Im a little afraid to speak badly about the series that has such a huge fandom, but believe I wanted to be part of it too! So its quite disappointing :/
ok, no hate please🙏 I've heard so many amazing things about this series but I was a little intimidated by the 50 episodes so for years I kept putting it off until later. Howerer recently I've finished reading TGCF (books by the same author as MDZS which is the story that The Untamed is based on) and I was literally obsessed sooo... I decided to finally try watching this series. And guys... I dont get it :( I'm on episode 7 right now and I seriously dont get the hype ;( Coming in I knew that the series is censored so I knew what to expect and what not, I'v also watched chinese dramas before so the lore of the world is not as complicated, but still I find it ... overhyped? ;/ Tell me, is it really worth it for me to keep watching if it didnt click with me till now?
This drama is so heartbreaking I just can't😭, after ep 8 i have absolutely no idea whats to come, but I realy hope there would be some kind of miracle that can make things better ...
ok, never watched BL drama before, so not entirely sure how I even got here... but must admit the chemistry between these two is off the roof 🔥Genuinely obsessed! 🤯😭❤️
Typical situation for me xD I have endless "to watch list" and decide on a whim to watch random drama that I've seen 30sec clip on social media 🙈 And it was the best decision ever. I loved everything about it. I guess I have a thing for melodrama and time travel combination. Even tho there might have been some plot holes ... honestly I dont care, I loved this drama.
