So far this show is funny and cute, it’s a good BL. Loved the opening scene!
So just an opinion here (feel free to ignore) on representation etc, as I’m seeing this a lot these days. If you Remember where BLs came about and who they are aimed for: straight women who needed an safe outlet to express their sexuality. BL content was never originally intended for an LGBT audience, if the genre wants to slowly progress towards LGBT and that’s the intention of the creators then that’s great and they should pay attention to the needs of an LGBT audience, but I feel like they are not intending that with most BLs I’ve seen, they really do aim them at a female audience. As uncomfortable as that may be for those wanting themselves represented, you might find it easier to find representation in a LGBT drama as opposed to a BL, as those dramas are aimed at an LGBT audience. For example, I would love to see Bisexuality represented more in a natural way in BLs (not automatically making them players, just because you like both sexes doesn’t mean you want to sleep around) but that doesn’t mean I’m going to get that in a BL as it’s main audience is Straight females, and I accept what the original intent was for creation, if I don’t like it I’ll stop watching, we all have control over what we choose to watch. Again just an opinion.
Everyone seems to not like this, but I’m reeeaaaly enjoying it. I like the action, the relationship between the characters and the pacing. I think if you like" main character being taken over by something "kinda themes and no romance aaaaaand action scenes, you may like it?
Ah this was such a good drama I’m sad I finished it so soooooon. Also kinda confused by the ending, does Shang actually go with him or not? It’s super sad if they don’t meet again T.T
I just finished watching life on Mars kdrama, it’s funny and action packed, no romance but a good show doesn’t always need romance ❤️ another one is the gift. So far I haven’t found anything I like more than ‘the gift’ OCN drama.
