I hate the grandfather/King so much. He is so immature & throws a temper tantrum at the slightest convenience.
He is not immature, this drama is based on a true event, I mean the story is real. According to the story, the father of King Yi San (ML's father) was a tyrant. He killed people, raped several women, used to beat his own wife and consorts, and berated his mother and daughters. He was mentally ill. So ML's father had to solve the issue by himself and eventually made Yi San the next successor. Blood is thicker than water, so the grandfather was always anxious about Yi San, after all, ML's father was executed by his grandfather so it was natural for him to hate his grandfather. When you rule a country, sometimes you need to overlook inner emotions.

I will never get over the fact the homeless couple had the most unnecessary storyline I've ever had the privilege…
Purpose - wasting screen time

i agree. i feel that all of this was inevitable though since king the land's popularity increased junho's popularity…
Wait what Deok Im and annoying don't even go together. Junho is one of my favorite idols and actor, as Junho has a good friendship with Yoona I was so excited for King The Land, tbh I loved it so much at first but then it was hard to digest them even though they are my favorites. But Red Sleeve is something else, it's rare to find a strong woman in historical drama, and it's almost impossible to be strong-headed if you are a servant. But DK was one of them, the self-respect she had was everything to me, the urge not to lose her inner self, she knew her boundaries and didn't take the pain of sharing her man. She was one of the most finely written female characters.
After watching the drama I read the real story of them and my respect for this couple increased a lot. Only brainless people can compare them and criticize a good character.

right! i think they should have made shio nice. like ur life isnt over, you can always change.
I wonder why some people demand a second season of every drama. Of course, some of them deserve it. I love Sk's law on drug dealing, but it's sad that sex offenders are hard to punish.

like he was drug dealer and many people lost their life because of him but still some call him victim, imagine…
Fiction and Non-fiction are totally different things, in dramas people even sympathize with psychopaths too. It's just NS even said that Shi Oh needed only one shoulder which means to her he was pitiful too, so if the writer could write it better then we would get a praiseworthy ending. Not all bad people had a rough past, it's not necessary. For example in Vincenzo.

LMAO.. She understood his feelings and she was also the only person he told about his childhood, but she never…
Sorry, but I hated NamSoon's character when in the end she was blabbering that nonsense, like bish you knew then why didn't use your damn brain, again you don't have one so never mind.
Replying to Gone Nov 27, 2023
We could have had something like Vincenzo. Ryushio and Vincenzo have some similarities. Both raised in the mafia…
After this, I don't think I could tolerate one more nonsense writing. Had to finish it just because I wanted to know how much lousy it could be. It's better to rewatch old gems now.
On Strong Girl Nam Soon Nov 26, 2023
The only best thing about the drama is that it has finished.
I thought Destined With You was the lousy drama I watched this year until I watched Namsoon.
It's hard to believe that it's the same writer as the SWDBS. Some viewers think that those who loved the villain only didn't like the drama. To be honest, it might be intentional or unintentional, the writer only gave some depth to his character. I'm not saying he deserved the girl and happy ending etc., but it was foolish of them to create a character like this who would overshadow the hero when in the end the villain himself would get a lousy ending. He committed suicide and they got the happy ending, what kind of justice war it is? The death could be meaningful, in Vincenzo we had a handsome villain too but the death was satisfying, again in Arthdal drama, Tagon was a meaningful character even though he was a villain, but his ending was meaningful too. IDK, what the writer tried to pull actually, was she trying to write a morally grey character? Whatever she failed in every way. And the funniest part, in the end, they were saying "Sad, SO was lonely, he needed only one person blah blah", again they were trying to sympathize with the villain when gave him a meaningless death. Then nothing to say about the finding of Shi Oh's biological father.
They even got a "badass female lead" tag, but NS wasn't a badass female lead, her power didn't make her badass because of her personality. I hope the director will try to make a meaningful Female Character, not a girl who has power genetically and talks like a teenage girl only. Being badass also depends on a character's personality and thinking.
I won't say that people who think it was good writing etc., are brainless, because everyone has a different preference. If you love it then you just do, nothing wrong, same as if you don't like it, you just don't.

That's literally the biggest sign that this is a shit show and how bad of a character Nam Soon ended up being…
Yeah, and it's funny when people start arguments on the basis that it's a well-written drama. And they give excuses like "You guys are new in Kdrama Land, you people only care for a romcom, that's why you guys don't have any idea about superheroes." KEKEKE

What you said about the villain is absolutely right, but then you said "The Drama Is Good", girl this drama is…
I like the villain, but not rooting for them. She can't be with him, firstly she is in love with another guy, secondly, Shi Oh talks about killing her mother before her, so no chance. But one can't deny that the drama is a mess just because a minor portion thinks it's interesting because there are already numerous dramas with the plot of saving people, the dark side of our society. So the audience knows what is a mess and what is well written. I don't think getting the girl is the only happy ending, for me, if he gets a closure or chance to redeem himself, it will be a happy ending. Nam Soon knew SO had feelings for her but still, she played with his trust, justice in this way is not truly justice, that's where it was wrongly written. But I respect your opinion, we are different people so it's normal to think in a different way.

The writer made his character that way so viewers feel sympathy for him, and in the recent episode, the writer just woke up and thought nay I need to make him more ruthless. What a tragedy 80% audience is rooting for the villain.

It's funny to see comments of people annoyed by the fact that many like the villain. I mean, he was the best character…
Don't we like dramas with psychopaths? and sometimes we feel sympathy for them too, such as in MOUSE, but nobody gonna support a psychopath in real life it's so basic. But some people are so dense, I mean does it make any sense that you can't love a villain's character? Even if I ignore the villain what to see there, how the fl always talks like a stupid teenager. a mother who loves to wear a cat dress before her stupid missions, and a granny who is having a great time with her bf (no objection to her love life).

Lol the plot makes perfect sense, what are you talking about? 🙃
sense without common.

I really don't get the comments, what's wrong with you people?? Just because he's pretty and had a traumatic childhood…
What you said about the villain is absolutely right, but then you said "The Drama Is Good", girl this drama is poorly written and a huge waste of talent.

this is terrible, why is she taking his drug dumb writing
And what about that part when her mum was drinking water because she couldn't? What a writing!! I'm amazed by this writer.
Replying to belleuna Nov 25, 2023
The main villain is the FL's bestfriend.
TBH, at first, I thought her only job was to drink at a bar. Didn't like her character in "I'm nobody" too.
I was so excited for My Demon that I almost forgot about this drama. TBH started this one with medium expectations, but the last two episodes came out so well. I enjoyed it more than My Demon, just hope the writer will maintain the consistency of the story. The FL character is the life of this drama. Don't miss it guys. It's painful to wait for a week now.
