I cried during an ep of Sparkling, when female lead's non biological dad who loves her as his genuine daughter parted ways with her. So many feels! Also in a couple episodes of Our Gap Soon when male lead was a jerk and kept breaking up with Gap Soon

I wondered that too in some of the dramas, how could no one else catch on. I think there was a brief moment in Goddess of Fire drama when she was in disguise and another male character had momentarily grabbed her by the wrist and he instantly knew she was a woman just from holding her wrist despite her manly disguise.

My voice is squeaky anime-girl-high (thus the reason behind my username happy-squeak) so much so that I used to record bit parts and voice overs for licensed anime back in my 20s. I have a hard time trying to mask the sound and pitch enough for a more masculine voice so that was a challenge. Aside from those who knew I was a girl, it was interesting to see other people double take or prolonged staring. Overall it was a fun experience

BL gender bender with surprise reveal later is such a fun theme. I hope there will be more gender benders dramas coming out soon. I never get tired of them :P

Snow Lotus is lovely, only 2 episodes but so well done! I might have to check out that Jdrama because the only reverse gender bender I've seen is Ma Boy, where the guy was in disguise as a girl.
