did not like the casting choices for Momo and Kairi in this, they lacked essence of the original characters. The manga and anime is much better! Dropped this movie 20min in

Does Somewhere Only We Know (2015) and min&max have a happy ending???
yes on Somewhere only we know, as well. It a beautiful ending but one that might make you teary eyed because it is so sweet and emotional

I adore NG an JJ together so much even though they won't get to be together, I hope the drama writer doesn't make them separate due to sad circumstances for JJ, she's been hurt so much already! NG is always looking out for her with so many cute little rescue moments and being so sweet to her. I Ship em!!

I like Si Won in other dramas, in this one they present him really immature and stupid. I couldn't help but wonder if his character here has an undisclosed social disorder (like male lead in protect the boss) even feels like some autistic traits are present. He's running around like an adult man-child. Does his character have a disorder here? Did I miss that note in these beginning eps. Not digging it

Thank you for the article. While I was a student I watched drama/movies like this. They were okay, but now that…
that's a tricky slope to tread, when students look to their teachers for direction, honesty, inspiration and encouragement. It must be a workout to keep the balance and not cross any lines, you're so right that youth/teens can be so easily influenced by even small gestures from an adult they might feel is paying special attention to them.

I had a tiny crush on my PE teacher back in highschool, he kind of looked like Michael J Fox and was in his twenties, so every girl in my grade was crushing on him. He also taught Japanese class as well, buhahaha I took that class 2 years in a row but only admired his cute look from afar. ^_^

don't see it on your list above, but Drama special- Nara's Rain, is so lovely. It was a dramatic life experience that brought them together, I liked that it wasn't heavy on romance, though in an understated way you could feel that they are starting to care about each other. I liked that the story telling showcased their mutual kindness and understanding for each other but also having them recognizing the social implications of even just being friends ...sad and beautiful ;_; :)

you may have seen it, but Japanese film Close Range Love has slightly older male teacher and student romance, they both fall for each other.

It's good. I love characters with wild imaginations (like JD from Scrubs).
I loved all her wacky daydream sequences, so funny

the only 2 I want to check in on are Prince Coffee Lab and Meteor Garden remake. I been waiting and hoping an updated Hana Yori Dango would come out sometime, I never get tired of that manga, anime and all the various renditions of it

I watched it without the subs, so I might be wrong, but summary as I understand is as below. Ren Hao Ming is a…
I agree I watched it raw as well, and was so annoyed for someone with heightened senses that he could not know it wasn't her when the bad chicks tried to pull the switch when he was finally able to see.

I luv these!! Not an easter egg at all, but in Drinking Solo one teacher is always doing character impersonations. He references other drama characters and cosplays as them. I enjoyed all his scenes, he did a DOTS one and his comedic timing was great. It was not on the sly at all, but a fun shout out to other dramas
