The original work isn’t explicit at all, since its a story with a bunch of high schoolers, it showed their love in a pure and wholesome way, this show was an utter dishonesty to that webtoon and the directors purely saw the gay couple as a “marketing strategy” and still wanted to cater to homophobes because they want money. I recommend supporting the author who actually worked hard to write the story instead of this garbage
In the year of 2025 we still cant escape queer baiting huh, had everyone excited to get a BL series of a popular webtoon to only use that popularity to shove a straight couple in our face instead, this was such a disappointment and a step back
Can taiwan stop doing the brothers trope or whatever it got real boring after addicted like yeah you can say that they arent real brothers or whatever and find loop hole but damn i was disappointed to find out the male lead was just gonna be the kid who we basically watched grow up. I would say its very much worth watching!! It had me at the edge of my seat Constantly and honestly ji chang wook’s acting by itself was a masterpiece.
