Yeah, still it was a bit cliché, that whole "rich kid who becomes a delinquent because he's not afraid of the consequences" kind of thing. It was a bit simplistic. Even for people who are douches, there's a line of thinking to explain their actions. It was a bit random in this case. I think the writers could've elaborated it a bit more.

Well, that's sad. ): I'd like to believe there wouldn't be people in the world who would harm others just for the sake of it. Still, as a story, it was a bit exaggerated. Usually, authors created reasons for behaviors and actions and this one seemed a bit simplistic. I don't know about real life. I'd really like to believe people aren't gratuitously douches. ):

Yeah, there are different styles to build up suspense. Maybe you just didn't like this kind of technique haha

Anyone else was annoyed by the english subs? I guess they were trying to make it easy for everyone to understand,…
Welcome to Netflix hahaha. I know nothing about Korean, but I've noticed badly translated subtitles on other shows. I know a bit of Japanese. At least, enough to notice some horrible translating haha. That's netflix in general, not only the Korean shows. Besides, if you watch the show in your own language, there's a great chance it'll be even worse, as they translate from the English subtitles and not from the original lol.

Can somebody please explain the reason for bullying? What was the nonsense about the sky being clear that day????
I mean, to me, it seemed a little bit like a deus ex machina (when they try to solve an intricate plot by a rather simplistic solution). Ok, if anyone suffered that level of bullying, surely one would end messed up: even a bright guy like Hyun Soo could turn into a depressive shut-in. That's why it seemed a bit too much too me. The author did well in building up the suspense, but the explanation was unsatisfactory. Some moments in the show seemed too much like a soap opera and this was one of them.

I get what you're saying about hating the ban, but who exactly are you thanking then? You said: "I'm freaking thankful that China is allowing them to do this AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL work". You can't blame people for misreading your words, because they do sound very contradictory. I mean there's nothing to be thankful for here. It's just sad people have to change the story so much so they can air the show. I don't think it's something to be appreciative for just because they allowed the show to air. It may not have been your intention, but that's what it sounded like. Just thinking you could've been complacent towards the Chinese ban made me really annoyed. Well, that's what I wanted to say. I'd consider changing the words a bit or adding an edit so it wouldn't offend anyone.
