Seems like it probably just a temp ban. There is no proof she attended the show - the venue denied she was there - and she didn’t break any laws. I think the ban is a warning and she’ll be back after appearing sufficiently “repentant.”

Right? And this writer is KNOWN for complex family backgrounds with multiple twists. Like, it’s obvious she had all this stuff planned out from the beginning and it IS the plot. Those who think it’s shoehorned in have never seen one of her shows.

Exactly. And usually a dad pays more attention to/hyper focuses on the OLDER son. It’s weird with his personality that he would hyper focus on the YOUNGER son if they are both his. I think this is part of why the mom is afraid to come forward - she “kidnapped” Kiho

In “I hear your voice” the female lead also makes the male lead promise not to kill and he keeps the promise. In Pinnocho when the males leads brother commits murder it’s treated like a tragedy that happens partially because he lost all hope/thought his entire family was dead. So I think him keeping his promise is on brand for this screenwriter

And this screenwriter has had a serial killer in how many dramas so far? 🤣

Technically this writer has done it twice - I watched I can Hear your voice and Lee Jun Suk was ABSOLUTELY coded as the second lead in all the promos etc. he was a main character, but we thought that more because the main mystery (murder of dad etc) centered around him.

My theory is only Kiho is his Bio son. That he and the mom got married when they each had a toddler and the boys aren’t actually related

He was up for an important political-educational position. Sounds like he was in the “due diligence” part of the appointment, and if his fathers actions became public, he would be humiliated and lose the opportunity. So he killed his dad. He absolutely knew the flowers would kill his dad.

In korea, the children of criminals are treated like criminals a lot of times (look at Lee Seung Gi’s dating drama for an example. The entire nation hates his girlfriend because her dad allegedly scammed people when she was like a teenager). So the son was also sacrificing his father so his kid wouldn’t be tainted by a criminal family “a father would do anything for his child,” was both a “you should be willing to die for me,” and a “I’m willing to kill your to protect my child’s perfect life.”
