Er… it’s not like China banned her from her Korean career? Just banned her from China. I think it’s backwards of China, but China is TOTALLY upfront about this kind of thing so I’m also not sure why anyone is pretending to be shocked? Like did we all think China is kind, forgiving and reasonable? 🤣

It’s a burlesque, and the dancers always strip. Lisa DIDNT Strip, which was unusual enough it was commented on. In America terms, Lisa performed an exotic dance at a high end strip club.
lol you totally misread their comment. They said if LISA was Chinese, her career would be over because China (obviously) doesn’t permit things like dancing at a burlesque
There is no confirmation yet but I find the situation is not that serious. So, There is a good chance it will…
Lisa performed at a strip club. Angelababy was seen in front of the strip club, but the venue itself denied she attended Lisa’s show. For that reason, I’m guessing she is just temp banned and this will air after she is seen as “repentant.”
Seems like it probably just a temp ban. There is no proof she attended the show - the venue denied she was there - and she didn’t break any laws. I think the ban is a warning and she’ll be back after appearing sufficiently “repentant.”
What are you even talking about. There's literally zero filler episode in this show. Kiho's dad is 100% a main…
Right? And this writer is KNOWN for complex family backgrounds with multiple twists. Like, it’s obvious she had all this stuff planned out from the beginning and it IS the plot. Those who think it’s shoehorned in have never seen one of her shows.
It’s like watching a Hong sisters drama and being shocked there are puns 😂
Exactly. And usually a dad pays more attention to/hyper focuses on the OLDER son. It’s weird with his personality that he would hyper focus on the YOUNGER son if they are both his. I think this is part of why the mom is afraid to come forward - she “kidnapped” Kiho
The sudden fear I felt for Bogeol when he suddenly typed "Sentence for Patricide". And then him going to see his…
In “I hear your voice” the female lead also makes the male lead promise not to kill and he keeps the promise. In Pinnocho when the males leads brother commits murder it’s treated like a tragedy that happens partially because he lost all hope/thought his entire family was dead. So I think him keeping his promise is on brand for this screenwriter
Technically this writer has done it twice - I watched I can Hear your voice and Lee Jun Suk was ABSOLUTELY coded as the second lead in all the promos etc. he was a main character, but we thought that more because the main mystery (murder of dad etc) centered around him.
Ok, help please!!!! What’s the classic-sounding Korean song that plays after Lee do-Hyun starts off singing it in ep 16? When they are driving to the beach?
I haven't watched the series but I think there's part two. You need to check it out to get your questions answered
Yup! Love your screen name btw. I’ve read the book multiple times and have watched just about every film version made (the 1930s one with Leslie Howard is probably my favorite)
Why did the teacher killed his own dad on episode 4? I don't get what was the trigger.
He was up for an important political-educational position. Sounds like he was in the “due diligence” part of the appointment, and if his fathers actions became public, he would be humiliated and lose the opportunity. So he killed his dad. He absolutely knew the flowers would kill his dad.
In korea, the children of criminals are treated like criminals a lot of times (look at Lee Seung Gi’s dating drama for an example. The entire nation hates his girlfriend because her dad allegedly scammed people when she was like a teenager). So the son was also sacrificing his father so his kid wouldn’t be tainted by a criminal family “a father would do anything for his child,” was both a “you should be willing to die for me,” and a “I’m willing to kill your to protect my child’s perfect life.”
