AM I the only one skipping the Joseon scenes! I think they are boring as Hell and wasting our precious minutes…
I was exactly thinking the same. There is no chemistry in the Joseon part. The two leads have only a few minutes together on some episodes. What's more the Joseon past bring nothing of deep value for the modern part.
I think people who watch this drama now will not be thrilled as we were when we watched it a longer time ago.…
That's exactly what I thought ! When it came out, it was a kind of first of its genre: a mix of love, action with a popular actor and intensity.I remenbered being captivated. It had that feel I'm longing for and that I can't find again in the new dramas ( It's a miracle right now when I can experience the feeling you had while watching your first dramas ). Now, I would not probably be able to finish it and I don't want to rewatch it and ternish the sweet memories I have. Many recent viewers say the show is pretty bad, it makes me wonder what will happen in the future to the dramas we really enjoy now.
WTH is happening. Everything about this lakorn is just SICK. I'am saying SICK. I can't believe I'am actually wasting…
To my mind, Leh ratree is way more unhealthy. The main difference is that the main girl is sold in Leh ratree whereas here Chitchaba agreed to be a mistress. She can quit whenever she wants it. That's not the case in Leh Ratree. Consent is the point.
It's interesting hearing about all the shows US companies want to pick up and remake. It will be interesting to…
I hope they will refrain from doing so. I'm too afraid that they might erase the details and the atmosphere that I like so much in dramas. But I am glad that the hallyu wave has such a wide influence.
I watched the first episodes and some parts left me ill at ease:
- the mum pressuring the couple to have an heir... Is Itsala a surrogate mother before being Sake 's wife?
- the sister and the mum taking the wife to the hospital by force to have a gynecologic check up.I felt myself violated.
- Even if Sake's wife was only interested in his money, he seems to have married her for the baby. So they are both equally wrong as none of them marry for love. Why is she the only one portrayed as evil ?
- Sake is flirting with an other woman while still being married. No one forced him to marry Itsala.
I'm used to watching lakorns so I'm not surprised by the plot but it 's the first time that the wrong doings of the hero and his family are depicted as moral actions and I can't help but side with the bad characters.
A lakorn more challenging and well written than a lot of thai drama. The main couple share such a great chemistry that we can forget all the annoying characters.
The plot tends to drag a little but the game between the two main leads is always gripping. I'm realising that I truly prefer older lakorns. They have something more captivating.
I agree with Anagard with the nice sellotape kiss.

That said I still enjoy the show.
