She is chasing her dream, she is still chasing her dream, so as a fan, why dont you guys trust and support her decision? From what i see from her wrap up video, she looks so happy, she worked hard for it, lack of sleep but you guys as a fan discredit all her effort because of the age? In the end of the day, thats her career, her dream, she looks happy and whatever those who so called want to "protect" her so much, will ruin her path. In china, most of them are cool with it, only us international audience being so "protective" over her age. Even her parents agreed with it. Who are we to decide for her career decision anyways? She knows what she is doing. She is not dumb. I suggest you watch her wrap her video then you will understand that she just a little girl who work hard like crazy for her dream. Think about it. Plus this is china, not western countries. You dont have to worry about china, they have censorship which they have to go through.

Most of you complaining about Aimi being casted for this role. Well, let me ask you guys, when you were 16, what did you do? Did you even bother to do anything about your career/dream job at the age of 16? Aimi is working hard and chasing her dream as a professional actress , but most of you just think about some weird fettish imagination? It matters when you use someone popularity to promote your actor. If the actor act very well, he should stop participated every single GJM project. How about go take a challenge and go act at other director. We all know GJM style. Give most of screentime to him compare to real main leads. We already have the example.
